I read reviews on several of these bathroom products and can’t believe that people are using them as step stools! These squatty potty units are simply for resting your feet upwards and slightly apart to position your legs and your lower abdomen in a more favorable way to ease bowel movements! They are very effective for those suffering from constipation or difficulties in emptying their bowels! None of these stools are designed to hold the weight of adults or children standing on them! A person should sit on the toilet first and them move the unit under their feet to raise their lower body into ideal “squatting” position. If you use the squatty potty for your child, never let a child step down on the unit to get off the toilet! It will eventually crack and the child will fall!     • Could be sturdier for the price
I got this as a gag gift for a friend who is a big SpongeBob fan. It lasted about 2 weeks because he tried to stand on it and it shattered. Obviously this is misuse so I won't count it too heavily towards its rating, but surely it could be made a little sturdier for the price :(

So I have two of the standard model in gray and black. I didn't want a white one or to replicate my current colors. So I chose this model.
