I love that these are connected. Fit my bed perfectly even though it was slightly too long. All I had to do was roll one up in the strap to shorten the length and boom…perfect fit! Definitely recommend. You could buy boards at the hardware store but it wouldn’t be saving money or quality.

Waste of money!! Doesn’t fit a Queen frame even with the internal boards on to add a 2 inch lip all around to hold this insert. So it’s at least 4 inches too short/narrow

This does the trick for what I needed it for. I took off the box mattress so my son would have a mattress closer to the floor that he could get in and out of himself. Our bed frame only had 3 pieces of wood that went across and didn’t seem strong enough. This was a little tricky to put on by myself, especially sliding the mattress on top without shifting the pieces. Would have been easier with two people. If you think you’ll have two people sleep in a bed with this, I would opt for the heavy duty material. I wish I had, but this is for my son who weighs less than 30 lbs so it should be sufficient enough. I just fear some May break after time especially if I’m laying in the bed with him. Overall, it’s better than what I had. I may try to put the other 3 pieces back in between these pieces to see if it gives it some more strength. ... show more

We were looking to avoid using a boxspring on my 5 year old daughter’s bed. Ordered this instead. The quality appears to be good, and the slats were easy to “install” on the bed frame. We added screws to secure the slats at 4 different points. Otherwise they do shift slightly.
