The larger standup vacuum does not work as well on small problem areas and/or couches. This little guy does an incredibly good job for what is was purchased for, cleaning small areas of rugs. Its portable, and easy to move up the stairs slowly, where some problems tend to occur.

This is an amazing little machine. I was able to clean the car seats on my work truck and could not believe what this little thing pulled out of the seats. I also have a house full of animals and it comes in very handy cleaning up after them.
