  • Good for value, even with the concerns, it is so worth it Good for value, even with the concerns, it is so worth it
Color: Red Style: Power Cage Only
It’s great for the price point. Instructions aren’t too hard to follow. The quality is reasonable due to the price. I wish it was a tiny bit taller but I’m 6’1 and can still make it work. There is a little wobble with the bar dips. Probably will put a piece of rubber in there tbh. I don’t know if I can trust the weight holders but so far they’re holding with 3 plates. The Olympic bar holder is in the way of the lower right weight plate holder but it’s manageable. Wondering about the cable will manage over time with the weights on it but we shall see. So far I’m very happy and those are my only criticisms. Build time: I did it by myself and had a ratchet. two times I put a bar facing the wrong way or the wrong side. It took me 2 hours and 30 minutes solo. I timed it. Closer to 2 hours since I did stop to set up music and clean up. If you plan to have a set of plates AND a set of bumper plates. Do yourself a favor and get another rack for the weights. There isn't enough room for two full sets. I fit six metal 45 plates on it with bumpers that are 2-45, 2-35, 2-25, 2-15, 2-10 bumper paltes. My 45 bumper plates sit on the side of the floor. everything else is crammed on. This is budget friendly and overall worth it. If you cant make it work, yet want this price, then it may be a hard truth its a you problem. I put off using this thing for way too long, but actually put it in practice and it is just fine now. Bench back squats power cleans, then i do my pull ups push ups, bent rows, lat pull downs, use the land mine, seated rows, you name it. I am going to use it for incline bench but haven't tried it yet. I see a lot of people want some crazy commercial ready gym but there's a reason the others are FIVE times the price minimum to get to this. If the cables die out on me, I will just replace them and buy a wire crimping tool to cut it and clamp it down. Its that easy. If you're truly worried about something breaking, it is so straight forward to fix. I am 240 6'1, I feel the bars and everything is stable. I don't feel like the cage will ever move or knock over. There really isn't a way to lock it down as there is a bar up front that keeps you from screwing it into the wall. So if you wanted to lock it down, you may need something on top pushing down but its so unrealistic to knock it over. ... show more

  • Great buy Great buy
Color: Red Style: Power Cage Only
I usually dont review but thought I should for anyone else looking for a budget homegym. I was very skeptical prior to ordering this because some comments were great while others were bad but ultimately decided on buying it after reading and watching reviews If you're thinking of getting it, get it. It took me about 2 hours to assemble it by myself, mostly using the pictures and not reading the confusing text. Its is not too difficult to assemble but parts of the assembly are tricky (for example, while connecting the top back corner brackets; i thought they shipped me brackets that misaligned with screw holes but it turns out i had to orient it a certain way to align properly). I was missing one #4 screw but i blame shipping and handling for it. The build quality is great, although some parts were dinged and some chipped paint but again this is because of shipping. The price is beyond excellent for the quality. It is study but i noticed that wobbleness largely depends of how leveled your floor is. I didn't install the barbell holder because the location didn't make sense and the landmine because i wouldn't use it and didn't want any obstruction in my small path. Overrall, this was a great purchase and makes a great addition to my home gym. It is very functional and the dimensions were excellent for my small garage. ... show more

  • Cost effective rack - Good enough!
Color: Red Style: Power Cage Only
I ordered this rack in May for $330, and it's even cheaper now 6 months later. It's been great for what I was looking for. There are a few downsides, but they aren't deal breakers. 1. I wish it was taller so I could do push press inside the rack, and pull-ups without having to bend my legs. 2. I wish there was more thought put in to the weight holders, as the weight storage bars prevent me from being able to bench press while inside the rack due to my weight plates preventing me from racking the bar, something which almost made me return it at first. But I've worked around that by switching to incline press and using the long safety rod to hold the bar and using the safety frames just in case. 3. I wish the entire rack was deeper. I'm used to a much deeper rack and being able to take a full step or two back when back squatting, but with this rack I'm limited to one step. I prefer to have a deeper rack so there's room in front of me and enough room behind me to bail and dump the bar. Not a huge deal, it just took some getting used to. I just have to squat a bit closer to the J hooks than I'm used to. 4. The rack wobbles a little when doing pull-ups. I've switched to a slow strict pull-up so it's perfectly fine, there's no danger but it makes a little noise while doing it. I don't think this rack would be safe for CrossFit moves like kipping pull-ups or toes to bar. 5. Little things like the J hooks and the safety bars leave tiny bits of rubber in my bar due to the knurling. Completely minor, but a little annoying. 6. The storage hooks are nice, but I always have to remove the rope implement due to my weight plates hitting it while back squatting. And I'm under 6ft. 7. The bar storage tube is too close to the bottom weight plate holder so it's not easy to get plates on and off the holder on that side, so I leave majority of my weights leaning against the wall. So for me the weight plate holders are mostly unused. The weight holders are removable, you don't have to install them. 8. Lat pulldown bar is super lightweight and I'm not 100% sure how much weight it can handle. The welding looks suspect, but maybe it's totally fine. Overall I don't use it much, mostly because I have other exercises I prefer to do. It's a solid rack for the current low price considering the lat pulldown and all accessories included. I assembled it myself in a few hours. It took me a little longer due to assembling the sides incorrectly so I had to undo it and restart. Definitely pay attention to the orientation of the sides since they only go on one way due to the resistance band pegs. Also, don't over tighten the bolts. I managed to start bending the frame by over tightening. ... show more

  • Great value!
Color: Red Style: Power Cage Only
The manufacturer reached out before it even shipped and told me exactly what to expect, showing they are dedicated to a great customer experience. I was looking for something that would allow me to do more workouts at home instead of going to the gym and this product does that. The listed weight capacity is 1200 pounds. I don’t honestly think it would withstand a drop of 1200 pounds from any kind of height but if you’re lifting that much you’re a silver back gorilla and can’t read this anyways. I have the shuttle loaded with bumper plates right now - a 45, a 35, a 25, and a 15 on each side and that’s the limit in terms of width. The shuttle runs really smooth and all the attachments are better quality than what I expected. The J-hooks, for example, look small and maybe a little cheap in the pictures on Amazon but they are actually pretty sturdy and well built. The included single handed grips are made with a thin webbed material so probably won’t handle a lot of abuse but you can generally find aftermarket handles for a decent price. The included hooks are great for storing all the attachments I already had. I don’t like the placement of the top weight plate storage because it gets in the way when bench pressing but at this price I’m not too upset about that. I think it would be nice if they had more places where you could mount the plate storage so you could customize it better. At the end of the day, I got a well made, sturdy power rack that I can use in my own home and reduce the trips I’m taking to the gym. It handles enough weight that I can continue building and is a great addition at a great price. ... show more

Color: Red Style: Power Cage Only
This is a great workout cage for the price. Not for Mr. Universe training, but perfect for beginning to intermediate bodybuilding. I love it. Lots of parts but pretty easy to assemble. The pulley system is smooth and stout. Customer service is excellent. I was missing one small part and they shipped it right away. You won’t be disappointed !! ... show more

  • Some design flaws. Overall a good power rack.
Color: Red Style: Power Cage Only
Overall this is an excellent power rack for my home gym. The pulley system works well and the side spotter rails are excellent and allows for protection in case you fail on a squat or bench press. The numbers on the uprights make it easier to set your J-hooks in the proper locations for benches, squats, and overhead presses. This rack seems sturdy enough for home use although it may not suit individuals who do some seriously heavy lifting. For the price, it can't be beat. There are however a few design flaws. If you set up your squat in the back of the rack, you will have difficulty due the cables being in your way. I couldn't get under the bar without having my face rubbing against the cables so i put the hooks on the other side. Secondly, whoever decided to place the upper weight storage posts where they are made a huge design error. I couldn't load the weights for a bench press due to the storage posts being in the way. I removed them altogether. This flaw made no sense to me. The purpose of a power rack is to set up INSIDE the rack with spotter rails to ensure your safety. Benching or squatting outside of the rack makes no sense: You might as well save space and purchase a half rack. The spotter arms on the outside are short and aren't going to save you in the event of a failed squat or bench press and defeat the purpose of having a full power rack. Don't get me wrong, this is a good rack, it's just that the design needs to be rethought. Assembly took me about 2.5 hours and the instruction manual is excellent. The packets of bolts are numbered for each step making it very easy to follow but you will need a second person to help install the chin-up bar and the cross bar that the lat pulldown rests on. The price of $389 is excellent but you may want to spend a few more dollars on a rack that doesn't have the design flaws this one has. ... show more

  • Perfect for home gym. Perfect for home gym.
Color: Red Style: Power Cage Only
Read some of the reviews, was a little hesitant to buy, but oh man I’m glad I did. It’s perfect. Pully is smooth, got lots of variety. This truly is an all in 1 cage. I was concerned about the pull up bar as I’m 6’3 and 300 pounds, it holds me with no problems. The cage is roomy inside, the bar catch for squats is very sturdy. I would definitely recommend using 2 people to assemble. This cage is very well thought out. People mentioned not getting all packages, not getting instructions and so on, I had zero issues, everything was labeled perfectly, directions were easy to follow, and my favorite part is that the screws, nuts and washers, were separated by step. 10/10 I definitely recommend this cage. Definitely gets your moneys worth. ... show more

  • Affordably priced rack that will keep you safe and give you a few extras.
Color: Red Style: Power Cage Only
For the price I paid, this power rack is great quality. The assembly was enjoyable. The accessories and equipment are what I remember needing for a decent workout at my high school gym - and then more. The whole power rack is pretty solid. I don't doubt it can hold the 300 to 500 lbs. that I need it to, since I am just getting back into lifting. I do think there could be more stability side-to-side, but it is nothing I am worried about. The metal is powder-coated and some coating was missing around the edges of a couple pieces due to shipping. Assembling the power rack took me most of a day, but I am not practiced at assembling things. And it was somewhat enjoyable even for a novice because the instructions are clear and divided clearly by steps, with the hardware for each step plainly labeled so there is no guessing which bolts you need to grab. It comes with two flat crescent wrench tools which are great if you don't have tools of your own. I recommend a drill or driver with a 17mm socket to speed things up, just don't overtighten because the metal will start to bend. I love the fact that the kit I bought came with a lat-pulldown bar, a smaller flat bar, tricep pushdown rope attachment, and two D-handles with an ankle strap for flies and rows. It even came with dip handles for added tricep work or core workouts. I did not expect (probably because I wasn't shopping for it) a landmine attachment or a barbell holder. All of the extras were appreciated and make me glad I purchased this power rack. Here is my main criticism and my solution for it, so far. Upon trying out the barbell squat, I went to get under the bar and found myself almost touching the cable pulley assembly with my nose. I could get the bar without touching my nose, but I felt like it was too close. So for now, I switched the J-hooks to the rear bar and I will do squats facing backwards. The second criticism I have is that all of the accessories hanging from the hooks around the outside of the cage get in the way of my barbell. I will be removing most of the hooks and accessories to put them either on my wall or in a container on the floor. To sum it up, I simply wanted a power rack to perform squats and bench press safely without a spotter. I am definitely satisfied it will fulfill my purposes. And now I have the added core, arm, and back workout flexibility I wouldn't normally get with a home gym setup. ... show more
