I had purchased a larger kennel for me 65lb lab/blue heeler. The airline said it was to large for the plan from Phx to Boston. I then purchased this kennel Arriving at the airline cargo area, the airline stated this kennel was to small, because the dog could not have his head all the way up. There still was 4 inches of clearance obove his back...I informed the cargo employees of the previous airline email stating I needed a smaller kennel. While I was searching for the airline email they stated "ok, but you need to get him a larger kennel in Boston ( agreeing, but doubtful). Off the Boston, then the Azore Islands in the middle of the Atlantic....with a Veterinarian looking at him in Boston and the Azores They where good with the kennel size. Hopefully, this puts some input if your flying with your best little buddy. ... show more

The kennel is just the right size. Unfortunately, one of the lockable wheels broke only after 1 month. I contacted the company and customer service sent out replacement at no charge. Happy with purchase.

I just received this today and quickly set it up so my dog can get accustom to it before we move across the world. The instructions were easy to follow and it looks great! It also feels very sturdy, especially with the metal bolts. My dog is scared of everything but he doesn't seem to mind this too much - I'll be slowly easing him into it by filling it with treats. We got the Large size and my corgi is 35-40lbs (he's overall large for his breed). Plenty of room for him to turn around and get cozy. ... show more

I used this kennel for international travel. My dog is around 50lbs and I got XXL for some extra comfort. The setup was pretty easy. The wheels are life savers. I cannot stress this enough. They are removable, which is another great feature. Right before I delivered my pet at the counter, I removed the wheels. I didn’t want her to move a lot on the plane or during the loading. Wheels have breaks but I didn’t want to risk it. When I got the kennel back at the destination, I clicked them back. It was so easy to pull them out and putting them back. The only kind of negative comment I can make is that handles need to be a bit bigger and maybe longer. I got a kayak pulling extension to pull it better. Great kennel for travel.
