I have only had this coat for a few weeks but felt compelled to write a review. For $69.00 this coat is awesome! Ordered the small and it fits nicely -- leaves extra room to layer. I am 5'1 125 pounds and it hits me lower thigh. It is lined with a nice soft plush material...the hood has a thick faux fur trim...sleeves are cuffed with elastic to offer a snug fit. It is WARM! And not too heavy. Honestly -- depending on how it holds up -- and I think it will...zipper looks sturdy, etc...this is as warm and nice a coat as one from Eddie Bauer I returned. The shape is a little boxy would be my only complaint. Also -- ordered the olive and is is nice deep olive green...with a subtle sheen. Not too bright. Just perfect! ... show more

I just received this wonderfully, warm and cozy coat! I chose the dusty pink/mauve and it is beautiful! I have a hard time with clothes and shoes and online ordering...I am almost 5'10 and typically wear a 2X and chose to get the 3X for plenty of breathing room and to allow for layering, when it gets really cold in the Midwest. I wore this coat today and it was so very warm and comfortable and fit me perfectly, with a little room to spare. It's well made and I love all of the features, including the soft lining on the inseam and pockets and beautiful hood, too. A great winter coat for a great price! This came so fast and it’s even more beautiful than the picture shows! It’s heavy and the 3X fits with room to spare for a sweater if need be, but you won’t need it cos it’s SO warm! This coat is amazing. Its not down filled, but with the fleece liner it makes it warmer. Its been wind proof tested in the big city. It was great, The hood is huge, so if you hair is up, it will still cover. Had my hair down so it came down further but glad it covered more than less. Wish there was one inside pocket but the front pockets are deep and zip up for safety if needed. ... show more

I ordered the coat in extra large and had to return it for a large. I am 5'4" and weigh 146. I like the looks of the coat a lot, mine is navy with a little soft sheen to it. As others have mentioned the hood is huge. The fur piece zips off and probably I will not use that so much. It is heavier but cozy warm. I bought it for extra cold days as I walk my dog everyday no matter what the weather.The sleeves are comfortable and have a good inside cuffs. The length on me is 5" above the knee. The outside is water resistant. Love the chevron stitching, so much more attractive than straight across! The lining is soft furry material. I love everything about the coat and was surprised the pockets were regular thin lining material instead of flannelly material like I have in my other puffies. Good heavy-duty zippers. I bought a burgundy size large and it fit perfectly. I am 5’1” and weigh 155 pounds. The sleeves are a tad long, but I have that issue in all the clothes I buy because my arms are shorter than average. This is the warmest coat I’ve ever owned and the hood does an incredible job of stopping the wind from getting to your head. I love what the coat is made of because it repels water on the outside and the inside is a furry lining that keeps me extraordinarily warm. I also like that you can snap the coat closed or use the zipper or both. The side pockets also close with a zipper so I’m guaranteed not to lose keys or phone or whatever I put in there. I absolutely adore this coat!!! I stay warm even on a freezing cold day. January 2022 update Unfortunately I gained 30 pounds in the last 12 months and that beautiful coat in size large no longer fits. I ordered a 1X that came today and it fits perfectly. Bought this jacket for windy days in Maine, and it did its job! It's the warmest jacket, great length, fits as expected, BUT the hood is HUGE. There is not a front to back hood adjustment, only a draw string around the front of the hood. Love the fur, it's soft and pretty, but it does tend to pull the hood down over your eyes. Without the fur the hood is more manageable. Great price for the warmth! ... show more

Super warm and comfortable. The exterior fabric is slightly more plasticky feeling than other more expensive coats I have purchased and the hood a little oversized, but those are the only minor issues I have found. Otherwise, coat is fantastic and has been perfect for our cold New England winter!
