It has multiple, totally variable, configurations. It can be used as a very portable iPhone stand, or have its angle set to support the iPhone in photo taking mode. Or, it can be shaped like a Z, to hold the iPhone in a horizontal position, or flattened out to hold the iPhone in a horizontal position, or to go in your pocket.

Unlike most of the other magsafe holders out there (which have a fixed viewing angle AND a tendency to fall forward when the phone is attached) this stand does a great job of holding an iPhone at any angle, with the mass of the phone and charger positioned at the middle of the stand base, rather than at the edge. The base is wide enough to maintain stablility, but light and compact enough to fold up to carry in your pocket. The hinges are sturdy and keep the phone at the desired angle. Note: this stand fits ONLY Apple MagSafe chargers, not off-brand chargers!
