  • Still the Best - Excellent for Running
Size: Women's 9-10.5/Men's 8-9.5 Style Name: Regular Width
Update 6-3-14: To date, I have tried Spenco Cross Trainers, Total Support, RX Moldable and the Walker/Runner insoles. I ran in Cross Trainers for over thirty years and then tried the others looking for more arch support (I have very high arches) and to help treat Plantar Faciitis that I contracted almost two years ago. The total Support were OK but provided too little cushioning under the heel for running. The RX insoles were terrible, were molded incorrectly from the factory with the arch starting under my heel and were only slightly moldable. The Walker/Runners were the same design as the Total Support but had no structure at all and were just soft rubber. I have returned to the Cross Trainers as I believe they are the best Spenco insoles for cushioning under the heel and mid-foot. If they had a much higher arch and a little more structure they would be perfect. For me, for now, they are the best and I would recommend them. Original Review 12-7-12: I'm 66, I have high arches and I've been running for exercise for 36 years. I have been using Spenco Cross Trainer (green, yellow and black) insoles for many years and have been happy with them. Some time ago I developed some heel pain and I recently decided to try the Spenco Total Support insoles. They have a higher arch, which is good for me but, it appears the arch is higher because the heel cushioning is lower...thinner. The impressive multicolored heel pads and underside cushioning areas in the Total Support photos appear, in person, to all be the same material, but colored differently. My heel pain did not diminish while using the Total Support insoles and I have returned to the Cross Trainers for the additional heel cushioning. The Cross Trainers have good arch support and it is probably adequate for most runners. I suspect the Total Support insoles might be good for walking where heel cushioning is not so critical. If you want good heel cushioning, especially for running, I suggest you use the Spenco Cross Trainer insoles. ... show more

  • Very nice insoles helped tremendously
Size: Women's 9-10.5/Men's 8-9.5 Style Name: Regular Width
These are some of the better insoles I have tried to remedy my heel pain. Having arthritic feet it has been a difficult task and an expensive one trying to find the perfect insole to eliminate the pain. These are better than most, but after a long day of wear they don't hold up as well as I had hoped. ... show more

  • Hands down best for the money
Size: Women's 11-12.5/Men's 10-11.5 Style Name: Regular Width
I've bought these 3 times from Amazon and 3 times from a store. These are absolutely the best you can get for the price. They wear out for me (railroader) in about 8 months a pair, but they are absolutely worth it. I've spent up to 80 dollars on other pairs and tried 6 or 7 different brands. These Excell in flexibility and comfort for 10+ hours on your feet. They cut down on my planter fascitis, and heel pain. Will continue to buy for a long time. ... show more

  • Stopped my knee pain
Size: Women's 9-10.5/Men's 8-9.5 Style Name: Regular Width
I bought a new pair of sneakers. They fit well, however on long walks I noticed knee pain, which I hadn’t experienced before. I pulled out the original footbed and replaced it with the insoles. They are amazing. No more knee pain and no more heal pain which I hadn’t associated with the new shoes. I had a size 8.5 shoe and got the insoles for the size 9-10. Cut them to fit and they were perfect. Recommend!! ... show more

  • They don’t last.
Size: Women's 9-10.5/Men's 8-9.5 Style Name: Regular Width
I purchased one pair and they lasted two months. It was so worn there was a hole in one. I purchased these cross trainer ones thinking if they were thicker they would last longer. They lasted 2 weeks before the front started op peeling and hurting my foot. I cut that part but it is wearing down everywhere else. So disappointed. I remember years ago this was a really good brand to wear and had a one year warranty if I remember correctly. I will say that they are comfortable and I stand on my feet and walk all day. I just can’t be replacing these every 4 weeks at this price. ... show more
