Cart goes faster with the "slow" wedge. Noticeable difference and it's easy to remove. I have not tried the "faster" wedge yet and I am not sure I even need to. The slower one is fast enough for me! Ingenious design.

Took a chance at $12, it came with a longer one and shorter one, I put in both carts and they definitely had a little more pop in the acceleration and top speed but you can tell it does not completely remove the regulator. Overall I think it’s worth it, easy to install and remove, would be nice if it came with a little bigger of one for the cost, maybe have a package of 6 (2 of each size).     • It melts after a few minutes of driving, so is useless.

Hi it was easy to install but after driving it for a few minutes the heat from the engine bay or exhaust melted it. It needs to be made of steel or something that can handle under bonnet temps.

    • WILL DEFINITELY WORK with a Yamaha Quietech EFI golf cart.

I looked online and found a website that showed how to adjust the speed on a Yamaha Quietech. It showed the throttle linkage behind the engine. You have to remove the cart tray for access - no big deal if you have a 5mm hex head tool. I cut the Speedwedge to about 3/8" and increased my cart speed from 20 mph to 24 mph - just what I wanted. ... show more
