Guess I'll quit drinking since I had to sell a kidney to buy this thing... but I'm glad I did. Set up was simple and fast. Camera connected immediately and the pictures are very nice. I'd suggest watching some YouTube videos about setting suggestions from other users and don't skimp on your data plan. If you use the camera a lot, you'll need more than you think. You better go ahead and get external power too, because those 12 AA batteries don't last long if the camera is active and/or exposed to extreme temperatures. The "golive" feature is so cool, crystal clear with zero lag. I don't know if a person can live without both kidney's but I'm considering buying another Spartan.

I purchased two Spartan cameras. One of them the monitor screen does not work. I’ve gotten nothing but run around while trying to pursue a warranty remedy. The camera that does work is nice and the live view is great. However, it chews up batteries. New batteries are almost dead after 2 weeks.

This is 1st cell plan trail cam. Even though it was a bit on the higher range, I feel it was a great investment. When going live the picture and sound and awesome, just like being there! I have a great phone but even I don't get service where we put it, this one does, on the multicarrier option. The pictures are high quality day and night. Definitely would purchase again if we need too! Great for wildlife or security. Definitely spend the extra cash and get the solar set up.

Had issues with first camera but they sent a replacement. Works great now. Use year round off solar panel with rechargeable batteries. On top of mountain, extreme conditions.

We got 2 Golives from Spartan website but found $40 off on Amazon two days ago. We ordered 1 more Golive for our property and a new Golive 2. Golive GPS function is my favorite because camera still sends its location to us even someone took out the batteries and SD card from the camera. I set up my Golive with solar kits so the battery life is much longer than we expected. They just lasts forever. We love Spartan.

The necessity of having cell coverage limits where you can place the camera. Once I located a spot to install it, the stream of empty pictures it sends is crazy. All sensitivity settings have been tried with no luck. The data plan I purchased is being wasted. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND THE DRAWBACKS.

GoLive M uses smart network switching to keep you connected throughout the United States. It's my first M version, I usually get Verizon but I do need a camera which will work in Verizon and AT&T area, so M would be my best choice. The date option is affordable and provide real data instead of limiting certain quantity of images or videos. Love live streaming with GPS anti-theft function well too!

I purchased this camera with high hopes it would be an upgrade from the Tactacams I have been using...which it should be at triple the price. But the cam never functioned properly. It burned through a package of Lithium AA in one day and never charged the internal battery above 0.4 volts. Support at both the seller and manufacturer was useless in helping and treated me like an idiot. Now I have to chase after a refund for the data plan. I'm glad others have had good luck; but buy with caution if something goes wrong.
