Words can't describe how much time and energy this product saved me. Used it to dethatch my front and back lawn and had really great results using it. The included catch bag is a little small but worked really well. You have the option to also use without the bag as well. Overall great product and beats raking by hand any day. Surprisingly for a small machine it did its job. Did my 10,000 sq ft yard with no problem thatching. Amazing that it cost about the same as renting a machine for one day. Assembly was less than 10 minutes. Works well at a decent pace so as not to overload the machine. It is not a heavy duty machine so do not overload. Spent parts of 2 days to complete the project. Pulled up dead grass easily. Discarded the bag because it fill up to quickly and use the riding lawn mower- bigger bag. Cheaper than renting, well worth the money.

This SOYUS Electric Dethatcher and Scarifier worked great. I was surprised that it worked so sell. having to use an extension cord is a little cumbersome but for the price, this worked great. I did not use the bag, only because I have a large yard and it was just easier to go back over it with my riding lawnmower. I was surprised how much dead grass came out from underneath. I first cut the grass low and then went over I with the dethatcher. I did not use the scarifier, but I could see how this would be great for bare ground. The blade on the scarifier is solid and the dethatcher did not have any signs of wear after doing 4000 sq ft. of lawn. My next step for my lawn is to seed and cover with Kellogg's topper. this is going to be a great lawn season. ... show more
