My son will be getting one less Christmas present this year because he opened the package. I wasn't expecting this to arrive less than 24 hours after I ordered it, but it did. My son brought the box in the house and preceeded to open it (in front of me, helping me out, etc...) and when he pulled it from the box- his eyes lit up and he got immediately excited. I was bummed. He started to open the bag and hadn't even seen that the quote on the blanket was one our favorite's that we say in our home (our children are adults) and the only one I really will say, his eyes and face unable to hide the glee that his cartoon gives these guys. After getting the plastic off- the softness hit him and he started rubbing it on his face and arms and told me that he was going to be sleeping with it tonight. Mind you- as a man he is over 6ft tall and when he held this blanket up- I was surprised at how large it actually was. I was glad that it was a "man-sized" throw and not more of a lap blanket. He was giddy- I'm glad he loves it, but he might be a little sad when he is one less gift this holiday... that's ok, he can open the rest cuddled up in his new favorite blankie...lol Seriously though- if you can be with SP, it is a nice blanket- super super soft and is actually a good size for an adult. We live in the South, so it is perfect year-round for him to keep warm without overheating. The graphic is perfect with the "going home" phrase and will make you smile- even if you aren't familiar with the program. ... show more

Very soft and nice feeling blanket. Print quality is great and rich on the front facing side. Print is viewable on the backside but not as rich in color; this was expected. Great size for a throw blanket. After washing, did not notice in degradation in color or material. This blanket is however very thin, thinner than my other fleece blankets that I am accustomed to. I wish it would have been a bit thicker but it still provides warmth and that cozy feeling when your just a touch cool. ... show more

The South Park Throw Blanket is nice. It is made well, I like the quality, but for the thickness, well, it is a little on the thin side. It is soft and it feels nice. As a fan of South Park for the past 28 years, I do recommend this for either yourself or as a gift.
