The Sous Vide works well for me. I purchased it mainly to pasteurize wine outside the kitchen, and it heats the water well and maintains it at that temperature until the timer is done. It's excellent for my needs. Navigating through the buttons isn't completely intuitive, but I imagine it will be fine after a few uses.

Sous Vide is a great way to cook meats at a constant temperature over large periods of time, which leads to a really even cook. Meats wont dry out. Seasoning and herbs can be added right into the bag too. Plus you can use the machine with a variety of water reservoirs (I use with my Staub pots mostly). I like that the controls are built right into the device (I also have the Joule sous vide machine - while it does more accurately keep the temp, it requires an app + connectivity to work). Per the controls, the LCD screen is large and easy to read. Happy to say everything we’ve cooked with this so far has come out very nice.

Easy to use, hardest part is figuring out WHAT exactly I want to cook! Once I decide that, it’s so easy to set it and almost forget it. Won’t over on your food cause it’ll keep it at whatever temp you set it for. Great help with freezer meal prep too.

I had seen some of the big chefs on Food Network using this device. I decided to give it a try as this one was more reasonably priced, and some of the others that I had looked at. I have found it to be a delight to use and it makes quick work of much of my dinner plans. I like it it does not heat up the kitchen which is especially great during the warmer months of the year. I have been able to cook meats that are very tender, as well as blanching vegetables. Overall a very nice appliance and I would recommend having a vacuum sealer as well.

I have now been using this over the last few months. Having used much more expensive ones in the past I really didn't know what to expect with this. Luckily, after getting used to the operation of the buttons it really is a great sous vide that is not costly. The main drawback to this (to get it out of the way) is the button operation. It is just not intuitive at all and really took me a good while before I was confident in what I was doing and what I needed to press to get the device to work correctly (pressing the power button while it is already powered on to actually start it is one example). Really, once you get used to it this works just fine but it is not at all designed well with regard to operating this sous vide via the buttons. The good thing about this sous vide (which absolutely cancels out the issues with the buttons and the operation) is that it is inexpensive and is quite accurate. It also is easy to clean and is made of fairly high-quality materials. Again, I have been using this for a number of months, and from temperature checks to the quality of the food it produces it really is a nice sous vide. It would be nice for Bluetooth though that would increase the cost, and it could certainly use a redesign of operation with regard to the buttons and the function of the buttons but at this rough overall price it really is a great deal on a sous vide.

I've never used a sous vide machine before, and so we're just trying this out, and I gotta say, it's SO Cool!! Makes perfect steaks that we just sear and eat!!! I'm super excited for all the possibilities in the culinary world this brings!
