The scale has turned out to be more valuable the to process than I thought. Although this scale is not necessarily top of the line, it seems to be accurate and works perfectly fine. I don't have the experience to compare this to any other kit of this type, but I'm very happy with it and might even say it comes with more trinkets and pieces than needed, but it's working great for me. Great kit for the price.

This kit has almost everything I needed to start making sourdough bread. I especially like that it came with a scale. I’ve only the proofing basket once, but may bread came out shaped just like it should. One nice addition would be a scoring tool. I used a knife which works ok, but when I start working on designs I will need to get that tool.

I have to be honest. I don't bake a lot of bread. Why did I then order a bread proofing kit? Because the components are things I use all the time. I often use a kitchen scale for my other recipes, baking and lotion making. This one fits my needs perfectly. I use the basket with my charcuterie boards for breads and crackers. I use the pastry brush for basting proteins, pastries and more. And I use the scraper for a million other things in the kitchen. So, even if you don't bake bread, this is a fantastic kit. And, now that I have it, I may just start baking bread too.
