Okay, so a little bit to know, I first had an ION karaoke machine with a 15 inch woofer that cost $300 and lasted almost 2 years till the speaker busted, LOL! It actually was a pretty decent sounding speaker. I decided to try something different and I wanted something louder with a wider frequency response. I tried the S1 Pro Bose first. It didn't come close to what I expected. Next, I purchased the JBL Party box 1000. It was pretty good but just did not fulfill my expectations. Now, on to the SoundBoks Generation 4. It plays loud with great sound and does the same at low volume. It's the BEST out there! Love It! Worth every dollar! Just get it, lol! If you have any questions, please ask, as I will get back to you very soon. I have ordered my second one from their own website and I'm looking forward to paring them. I also will be connecting a Yamaha MG06X mixer so that I can adjust the gain and echo better for our fun singing karaoke, lol! One more important thing, if you want everything this Soundboks Gen 4 can do, please download the app. You will be very pleased! I got the Soundboks 3 and added the Soundboks on the go later to twin, in my music for a powerful blast dam do these do the job everyone asks what are they, what brand and I just blow them off with this brand. So for who ever likes quality, loudness and appreciates music don't look back!

this is far more than i expected would buy again if i wanted to spend the money. bass is top notch and volume is way more then you need to anger the neighbors. battery life is awesome. used it for 8 hours and only used 1/4 battery life at 3/4 volume !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaker made a "pop" sound and completely shut down within the seconds of first use. This continued 2 more times in the next 15 minutes when the volume was just barely over the halfway point. Hoping we can exchange what was an $880 purchase that we got on sale during Prime Day after waiting several months to purchase. ... show more

Nice speaker but the sound quality isn't what is advertised. It sounds ok, but definitely not as loud as some of the other reviews mention. It worked well for our conference, where we used it to announce awards in a medium size room. I did purchase a 2nd speaker to add more volume.

A speaker that truly delivers. Only problem I had was the tool to pull the grill did not come in the box as advertised but found the Allen wrench and a t-shirt pulls it just fine. Would like the actual tool at some point if sounboks is reading this
