This sound system is really great, honestly. I've taken it to swimming pools and beaches and the sound is amazing. I recommend it because it's super easy to carry around and the battery lasts a long time. It's super effective considering the price.

This thing is awesome. Does everything i wanted & does it well. Best part was it was cheaper than most of the other units i was looking at (JBL, Sony & LG) & has IPX4 rating. Loud/clear sound. 270deg sound projection. Great bass. LOOONG battery life. Qi Charger + regular USB charger. FM radio. Bluetooth. Eq settings & even an app to adjust volume. Wish I would have bought this years sooner. Sounds great, you can play music through Bluetooth connection, use it as a PA, and I also play guitar through it. Holds up well at outdoor gatherings and throughout many a youth sporting event.

I order this (Monster Rockin' Roller 270) and the ION Block Rocker and both sound good! If I had to choose a winner, I would give the win based on sound quality to the Monster over the ION Block Rocker. BUT - I based my decision comparing different types of music from metal to hip hop and the only difference that stood out to me is when listening to rock or heavy music produced in stereo opposed mono. Using the same metal song - the vocals on the ION were too loud and the music was buried in the background, where the Monster seemed to compress the vocals a bit resulting in a more balanced and enjoyable listen experience. While using a hip hop song, there was no noticeable deviation in quality between the two. Being that the Monster has multiple speakers it, it sounds a bit better for IMO for Rock/Metal. The question is do you want to pay twice as much for the minute difference? ... show more

The description was not accurate. The sound was not good and didn’t get as loud as what was described. good I think it was used and had a defect in the system. We tried everything but really didn’t work well for us. We did order the Monster 360 and it was like day and night the quality was amazing on the Monster 360. ***update 11/30/2024*** one of the two units has started to shut off when on battery power randomly. Seems to still work fine while plugged into a wall outlet. ***original review ***Pros are portability. It’s rugged and super easy to move them anywhere you’d like to. Battery life is good and way better than I expected. Connectivity is a big-time plus! Toss it in the car or setup in the yard. We have two of these linked up via TWS Bluetooth and they work great together. I will say that I had an issue when using my iPhone 13 via Bluetooth. This issue was the overall volume was not loud enough, not even close. But any other device via Bluetooth is SO much louder. We set up two of them to watch movies outside and it works really well. Monster— if you’re listening. Please update these so that you can connect/ pair up 4 of these together simultaneously. ... show more

    • WAY Better than the old rocking’ roller!!!
We had a “Monster Rocking Roller” that we got at Sam’s years ago. That one was, at best, OK. The battery didn’t hold a charge for long and the sound was mediocre. Bought this one for the price point expecting the same, but this thing is RIDICULOUS!!! The sound is amazing and all the extras like the wireless charger, the plug-in mic, the guitar plug-in, and all the stuff that I had no idea was even in there when I clicked “buy it now”. I love these speakers. They are robust and the sound is good. I bought mine 3 years ago and have used it without any issues, up until it got stolen from my RV 3 weeks ago. Would thoroughly recommend!
