I was in the market for a turntable after my 2 year old grandson got a hold of my very expensive table and experimented with it to the point of no return. I am so glad I ordered this one. The sound is perfectly adequate for everyday listening. Yes, if you’re listening through expensive headphones, then you can tell it’s not an audiophile unit, but that was not what I was looking for. What this unit does have are some big bonuses, at least for me: it has a Bluetooth function, so I can stream music from my iPhone to it and it can rip a mp3 from an album (all you need is usb memory stick…no additional software needed/no having to drag it over to your computer). It has built in speakers, but I can’t comment on those, as I have it plugged into my stereo. If my grandson gets hold it, I wouldn’t hesitate to order it again and at less than $40 bucks, it wouldn’t hurt to do so.

This turntable is amazing. I bought a new Def Leppard album to play and my old turntable died. This one does a variety of things and I really love that you can close the cover while the album is playing. It also has auto stop. I had forgotten how much I enjoy listening to my albums. Definitely worth the buy!

This is a great beginner turntable for anyone the sound is not bad at all you can also connect it to a larger stereo system amplifier etc. if you want to but it's ready to play right out of the box it's got built-in speakers it sounds pretty good for its class, it also lets you record your final records onto a USB thumb drive Which you can then play in your car or anywhere. Not bad for the price giving it four stars out of five because it's a little lacking on the bass. still sounds good though

Bought tis to convert a stack of 45s and LPs to MP3 files. Sales pitch made it same easy -- and it is! Plug in SoundBeast, turn knob to desired setting, put in USB stick and press "record". Done. Very simple also means I have to manually change files to artist and title, but I switch between 2 USB sticks and do entry work as I listen to next set of records. The ability to just listen to the vinyl with an all-in-one space saving unit is a plus. As is its Bluetooth compatibility. Unit seems sturdy and the simple lines are attractive.

Easily the best record player I’ve ever had! The sound is so much more crisp and authentic with the mounted speakers, it’s excellent right out of the box and looks mid-century modern in a great way.
