Features

  • Power - 4000 Max x 1 @ 1 Ohm, 2000 Max x 1 @ 2 Ohms, 1000 Max x 1 @ 4 Ohms, 8000 Max x 1 @2 Ohms Strapped
  • Class D - Power loss is significantly reduced making the amplifier highly efficient. Excess energy is stored until its needed instead of being converted into heat. Reduction in size/weight, reduced power waste, smaller heat sink, compact circuitry
  • 1 Ohm Stable - Able to continuously power loads of 1 Ohm without encountering difficulties such as overheating. Typically made to power up subwoofers that demand the heavier power load requirements to be able to perform the way they were made to
  • Strapping Capable - You are able to strap two EV4000D amplifiers and double the power that is being sent to your subwoofer(s). You now have the ability to connect more subwoofers to take advantage of the extra power
  • Phase Control - Phase control lets you adjust the speaker phase with the amplifier if your speakers or subwoofer are hooked up out of phase
  • Variable Subsonic Filter - To prevent your subwoofer(s) from bottoming out, the variable subsonic filter filters out frequencies below the subwoofer(s) specified low frequency limits and allows the driver to reach a maximum safe excursion
  • Variable Low Pass Crossover - Subwoofers reproduce sound based on a number of different low-range frequencies. You can set exact sound specifications for the bass frequency reproduction
  • Specs - Dimensions: 15 x 10 x 2.30, Weight: 11.27 lbs., Speaker Impedance: 1 to 8 Ohm, THD @ RMS Output: 0.01%, S/N Ratio: 100 dB, Frequency Response: 15 Hz to 250 Hz, Fuse: Two 35 amp ATO blade

  • Easy to hook up great sound
Once I had the wiring done on inside of car, the amp itself only took maybe 10 minutes to connect and I’m an Amateur. I have extensive knowledge on wiring and cars but amps I do not but it was super easy. This amp kicks pretty good too. When bass hits I can feel my hair wiggle. This is actually my second review because I wanted to see how it was a few months later and I still love this little amp. I drive 180 miles each day to work and back and I use every bit of the power this amp can push and never once had I had a problem. During the really hot months I installed 3 cooling fans just in case because it is enclosed. I didn’t really need to. I have it set with thermostat which is set at 90 degrees and it kicks in minimal so the amp runs on the cooler side. Like I said it’s not 1500w but I’d bet it’s running around 350-500w which is plenty enough to feel it while the neighbors hear it too I plan on buying another one for my other car after winter here ... show more

  • Great amp
Style: 4000 Watt Monoblock
This is a great amp for any price. I have it pushing a Pioneer TS-W3002D4 12 in my BMW 745 and it hits hard. I have it connected to my factory head unit and I love it. I have the bass turned all the way down to -10 and on the EQ the freqs 100 and 200 are all the way down to -10 and it still hits hard. With the sound quality of the factory BMW pro logic and this amp pushing the 12 it sounds so good. I have had many systems in my cars for over 20 years and this by far for money i spent is the best. I had a kicker amp pushing a kicker 12 and it kept cutting of when I turned up the volume. So I bought this amp and the thing I worry about now it if my windows are going to shatter. Make sure you have a least an 80 amp fuse because anything less with burn out very quickly. I learned the hard way. I have a 100 amp fuse now. ... show more

  • good deal and doing the job
ok os may amp came it today, mind you i changed from a jl 1000/1 to this amp..... i have this amp playing @ 4 ohms on two kicker cvx 12's and with the up it sounds just the way my jl did. so heres the nitty gritty, i sold my jl amp for 400.00 those amps where too heavy and kept breaking the sscrews, so i look into to some other amps i these fit the bill. i made 200.00 plus it weighs half the pounds. sounds crazy but i made money and the amp is doing the job.. if you looking for a bargain and quality this is the amp for you plus it came with the proper fuse for the amp and the bass knob........ all in all good deal cant be beat.... ... show more

  • Amazing amp for the price
Style: 4000 Watt Monoblock
I bought this amp March 8th 2021 and it last until October 28th 2021 which I'm not complaining considering it was probably my fault because I have the mounted on top of a box with my 12" 1500 watt so ALOT of rattling over the last 7 months. It was powering a 1500 watt skar audio at 1 ohm and a 10 inch kicker at 2 ohms and 2 450watt tweeters and it BUMPED. still works amazing when it warms up but a solder joint cracked inside the amp I'm assuming because it gets power, but won't power my subs on cold mornings(40-50 degrees) but after its warms up it bumps like brand new. 10/10 recommend if shopping for a solid amp on a budget. ... show more

  • The Biggest Bang for Your Buck
I know an amp in this price range is not a true non-clipping 3,000 watts, but it's probably the best one I have ever bought. It seriously pounds my single 12" Alpine R12. I have both coils connected at 2 Ohms, the signal response is clean with a beautiful excursion, and gives you a back massage while changing the way you breathe. Boys and girls... it's gooooood. It's Gucci. I don't know how long it will last, but I am running 4 guage to it off of a 1,000 amp battery, and have a factory 94 amp alternator. I haven't been able to drive it yet with it yet, so I don't know if I need a cap yet, but strongly considering getting a 2 farad capacitor. The lights started dimming on the hard hits, but the battery was dying. When I put it on the charger, the lights were fine with a 75% load. The amp never went into protection mode at any point; it handled everything I threw at it for 45 minutes straight, and was still cool. I'm getting ready to prepare the mounting area for it at the back of the trunk. If anything changes, I'll update my review. The sub is getting over 800 watts RMS out this little guy. It's quite impressive. I'm going to do an SPL test later as well. TIPS: Do NOT turn everything up to the highest level on your amp unless you want it to have a very short life; It's not necessary. You also need to use the settings on your receiver too to help with the output. Later, I'll send a picture of how mine is set. It may not be right for you, but it is never right for anyone to max everything out. I have this paired up with a Kenwood KDC-501. ... show more

  • shut's on and off during play.
When playing this amp it sometimes works and then it shuts down, but power light is still on. The bass fades in and out at times. I bought this amp in June; however, it wasn't installed until OCT 22, 2022. Now it's pass return time, so I'm stuck with a defective amp. It was professionally installed. I wanted to see if I could get a replacement. I don't want my money back. I need a decent amp. ... show more

  • Awesome Amp, I promise!!!
Style: 4000 Watt Monoblock
I absolutely love this amp. It's my second one. I sold the first one to a buddy. People has negative things to say about it, but they're in competitions. I have it wired at 1 ohm, great power, doesn't shut off, and doesn't get hot. Even my buddy loves his. Definitely recommended, thanks!!! Updated: I'm still pushing this amp almost 2 years later. It still hasn't shut off, nor does it get hot. I have 2 dual 12 inch 4 ohm soundqubed subs wired at 1 ohm. The subs are under rated at 600 watts rms each. I turn heads from far away. ... show more

  • Nice product/poor product
Style: 4000 Watt Monoblock
The product was nice when I got it. Soo nice I had everyone of my friends on this amp Everything sounded awesome, until after 1 month something shorted out on the board…and everyone later had to change theirs for the same thing..
