I will try to make this quick. I live in UK so I had to pay c.53% more than Amazon buyers in North America (due to taxes and shipping). Item was estimated to arrive on 30/11/21 but arrived on 23/11/21, so I am pleased with the swift despatch. The box was damaged as it had two large puncture holes. The sound bar itself did not seem physically damaged. However, when I was setting up my sound bar, I could hear something sliding inside the casing. The sound bar has good build quality. It has quite a bit of heft to it, so not light and flimsy. The remote control is responsive and well built. Many reviewers are saying it has a lot of connectivity. I'm sorry but I beg to differ. I wanted it for my 4K home theatre kit, so the only connection of use to me is the ToSlink (optical) connection. It has RCA and Coax, but these are very outdated audio connections and the sound quality is poor compared to Toslink/Optical and HDMI-ARC. Unfortunately, it does not have the latter connection (as implementing HDMI-ARC would notably increase the manufacturing cost and subsequent MSRP). Yet I do wonder if it is possible to engineer two optical connectors to the circuit board (ideal alternative to HDMI-ARC socket if you want to connect multiple devices directly to the sound bar). It does have bluetooth connection, so is useful if you want to play music from your smart phone, as well as a USB socket (from which you can insert a usb drive and play music). BTW, it comes with a two pin American plug, so I had to use a plug converter, to make it compatible with the three pin British plug system (which worked hunky dory). Setting up the Bestisan-7020 and trying to get it to work turned out to be a hassle. I read the manual and it clearly states I can connect it to external devices such as TV (obviously!) and DVD/Bluray player. However, when I connected the B-7020 sound bar directly to my LG-UBK90 4K bluray player via Optical cable, and I adjusted the settings on my LG 4K TV (40UH630V) from internal speakers to optical/ToSlink, I got absolutely no audio output whatsoever. I did the usual trouble shooting (switch optical cable, check plugs, etc) but to no avail. I then removed the Optical cable from my 4K bluray player and connected it directly to my 4K LG TV. Lo and behold I got audio output. Please note, prior to purchasing this Bestian 7020 sound bar, I was (rarely) using my LG SK1D sound bar, which was connected directly to my LG UBK90 4K bluray player and I was receiving audio output (and when I connected my LG SK1D sound bar directly to my 4K LG TV, I again received audio output). So it is very strange that I can get audio output when I connect the Bestisan 7020 directly to my 4K LG TV but I get no audio output whatsoever, when I connect the Bestisan 7020 directly to my LG UBK90 4K bluray player. There is either an inherent compatibility issue OR there is a fault with my unit. This is something I need to discuss directly with Bestisan (I hope they are reading my review and subsequently provide assistance in order to resolve the problem!). The audio quality of the Bestisan-7020 when compared to my previous sound bar (LG SK1D) is like night and day. I really was not impressed with the LG-SK1D. I purchased it at sale price c.3 years ago for £28 (original rrp £55), yet I have very rarely used it since it sounds somewhat hollow, with no way to adjust bass and it is also lacking in audio clarity. The audio fidelity of the B-7020 is significantly better (but not perfect). It is however good enough for my needs and the audio quality is on par with sound bars at least 2x more expensive. This is what I was looking for (good sound quality at a reasonable price). The B-7020 also buttons to adjust the treble and the bass (which is an added bonus). BTW, the B-7020 is a big unit. I placed it in front of my LG TV and it was blocking the IR sensor of my LG remote control (to my LG 4K TV). So I had to rearrange the position of the B-7020 soundbar. To summarise, if I can find a way to resolve the issue with my LG UBK90 4K bluray player, then it is a no brainer. I will keep this B-7020. If it transpires there is an incompatibility issue OR my unit is faulty, I may well send it back to Amazon and purchase the LG-SP2 sound bar which has Optical AND HDMI-ARC connectivity. SO I will connect the SP2 to my 4K LG TV by optical and also connect the SP2 to my 4K LG bluray player my HDMI-ARC. As it stands, I had to use a ToSlink splitter device (additional cost) in order to connect my 4K TV and 4K LG bluray player to the B-7020 sound bar. This means extra cable mess and the hassle of connecting three devices in a daisy chain. I think Bestisan should release an updated model or a higher end model of sound bar which features Optical and HDMI-ARC as well as some tweaking and refinement to the speaker system and integrated software/firmware. I cannot comment on longevity and reliability as I have only been using it a couple of days, but I will give updates as and when required. Finally, the unity comes with a one year manufacturer warranty. I hope Bestisan makes a top dog higher end model with at least two years warranty (and future proof connectivity). Almost forget to mention, but it is very disappointing that Bestisan does not have a store on Amazon UK (or Amazon Europe). They really need to serve the European market too. If I have to RMA my unit, I cannot send it to Amazon UK. Instead I have to send it back to Amazon USA which will cost me at least $30 (whereas RMA to UK Amazon would not have incurred shipping charges). I was looking for an inexpensive sound bar that would bring out better sound than the tiny speakers in my 50 inch big screen. The search was almost overwhelming with so many different products on the market. I came across the Bestisan (never heard of this company before) but the time to research it on multiple review websites. Overall it came back with very positive reviews. I bought it and it arrived within 3 days. It's certainly not very big but the sound quality was very good. I'm pretty happy with it. The best part is I can actually hear dialogue over the action scenes which can be fairly loud using this sound bar but a huge improvement over the TV speakers. If you want true surround sound with rafter shaking sound effects then pass on this one. If you want decent sound to supplement action scenes on a budget then this will do just fine. ... show more

After our Samsung soundbar took a crap after only a year, we decided to give this sound bar a shot after seeing the great reviews and the even more attractive price. I find it truly befuddling that this thing ha such great reviews. I can only attribute it to maybe the possibility that lots of folks haven’t experienced what a good sound bar sounds like. I will list a few pros first, as I do feel there’s a few things they’ve done right. The build quality is excellent and it is aesthetically pleasing, albeit a bit large. Hanging this thing on the wall is a breeze because it comes with solid brackets and a paper tape measure/guide for drilling the holes. So they make that part almost idiot proof. I’ve hung maybe 5 or so sound bars over the years and I’d say this was the quickest and easiest, so I do appreciate that. Another thing worth noting is the ease of connecting via Bluetooth. The remote is simple and doesn’t reek of cheap garbage. This is where the good things come to an end though. On to the bad, and it really comes down to the overall sound quality. The sound quality is downright bad. For such a large sound bar, it sure doesn’t pack any power. Bass is nonexistent. It sounds hollow, and even at moderate volumes, the speakers can sometimes sound blown. The sound quality is easily worse than the actual TV speakers, and obviously that’s not something you want when the sole purpose of a soundbar is to upgrade notoriously lackluster TV speakers. To make matters worse, there is a constant frequency buzz/ringing type of thing going on that first becomes evident when you pause the tv, or when the tv is off and the soundbar remains on. I then noticed that this frequency buzz/ringing was even audible when watching tv, and it drove us nuts. Also, there is no light up display to let you know where the volume is at or to adjust any sound settings, only a blinking light. I don’t think I need to get into why this is annoying. So to sum things up, we’ve already returned this thing after only a week. Went back to the drawing board, did a little more research and happened upon the Rif6 soundbar. It is also highly rated, and is only $30 or so more than this Bestisan. So far so good. The difference in sound quality is night and day. If you’re looking for a new soundbar and looking to stick to around $100 or less, I’d be careful to not get sucked in by the attractive price and high ratings for this Bestisan, not to mention some of their soundbars are Amazon best sellers, which just doesn’t make any sense to me after being so massively disappointed with this thing. Maybe we got a defective unit but pretty certain that’s not the case. This soundbar couldn’t do its job at even modest volumes. I would easily give this 1 star based on sound quality, but as I detailed, there are things they did right like the solid build quality and ease of setup, which earns them 2 stars. Buyer beware. Although this sound bar did NOT work with my older LG, not through the optical or co ax audio, decided to keep it. Possibly it could have worked via regular non digital rca jacks , don't know as it doesn't have these jacks. I paired it via Bluetooth with my phone and it sounded pretty decent on music and spoken words. It's a good looking piece with an easy remote and a decent value.
