Our kitchen TV has a good picture, but terrible sound. We have FIOS and needed a soundbar with digital Coaxial connection - which is uncommon. This unit sounds great. The multiple connection options alone are worth $37! Paired easily with our Verizon remote. Just be aware, since there's no video connection from the unit, you won't see a volume graphic on your TV when you change the volume. Perfect for what we needed. Out tv still works by the sound was having issues. This works well for movies or sorts or games. Not distorted.

    • Great soundbar for the price
The form factor of the bar is very sleek, and it is not too big, perfect for use in a small room or bedroom, and the lights aren't bright to keep you awake. The bar itself isn't too pretty to look at, but it is not designed for looks. Sound is what we are concerned with. 4/5 The functionality is great, The inclusion of ARC was a welcome addition even if i didn't use primarily. The need to press every button (can't hold it down to do the sound). Also, if the unit is left on, sometimes you need to turn the unit off and on to have it output audio. There is only a small LED that indicates power, source, and will blink if you are using the remote to control it. There is not a digital display for the sound level. There are also manual controls on the side of the unit. These are very minor issues and I chalk it up to little idiosyncrasies that I have gotten used to after a small period of use. 4/5 The sound quality is good, but if you are an audiophile and may want to look for a larger product, preferably one with a dedicated subwoofer. The sound is a little flat, and there is not much difference on the different equalizers presets. The unit is small so the lack of bass and treble (even though you can manually set it, it doesn't provide much difference on a smaller model like this one. The sound is a bit tinny. However, setup is a breeze. 3/5 The value of the bar is great. It will do everything a modern soundbar will do, and it does it quite well for a lower end soundbar. 5/5 While I didn't contact customer support for this model in particular, I contacted them for a different issue with one of their soundbars, and their suggestions and troubleshooting were top notch, and I have no complaints only positive experiences with the company's customer service team. 5/5 I would definitely recommend this product and I think it is a great replacement for the speakers on your television. ... show more

Had to replace a sound bar. This is well made, fits well and operates well with the TV remote. Ready to set up, great sound and very adjustable. Good value.

    • Remote issues
The soundboard isn't bad and performs reasonably well. However, the remote is awful. I've had issues from day 1 with buttons sticking and causing the volume to go to highest volume. Finally got an Amazon remote and linked it to that so issues are less but there are days it still goes crazy. I've replaced batteries 3 times in a year and now the remote won't turn the sound bar off. I knew it was an inexpensive piece of equipment but I didn't think it would be the remote that causes me to dump this thing. ... show more

This sound bar is so great you think you’re in a movie theater. I love this sound bar for my bedroom. I highly recommend this item if you’re looking for a great buy as well as a great product, then this is a deal.

    • Hit and miss. Mostly miss.
Pros: LOTS of physical cable connections (this is a HUGE plus, and something disappearing from modern speakers). Nice controller. Decent sound. Cons: Glossy black plastic body (this is a HARD "NO" for any product-- looks awful, tacky, cheap, collects smudges). Tactile response of the buttons on the speaker is AWFUL, cheap and hollow feeling. Way too thick/tall to fit under the legs of modern TVs, so you have to get creative to find somewhere to place it. Overall: I don't recommend. There are options better built, with better materials and better ergonomics for an equivalent price. Good job on the physical connections, though. ... show more
