Sounds very good. For how cheap this was, I was ready to accept mediocre, but it's very satisfactory. The remote has lots of features. The build quality is more substantial than I was expecting. The front grill is entirely metal. The wood finish looks convincing and clean. You could slap a big brand on the front and nobody would know the difference but it would cost 4x as much. Gonna snag another as an x-mas present. Perfect bedroom TV. Even at low volumes, a speaker like this will make things much clearer and easier to hear than the garbage speakers on most TV sets. ... show more

Excellent sound quality for TV and movies, this is a sound (pun completely intended) choice if you cannot go all in a top end sound system. It hooks up easy, works fine with blue tooth, and is generally good for most media. I will say if music is primarily your purpose, this is NOT a fantastic choice. I find it unbalanced and lacking for any serious audiophile. However, for just making a TV a better experience it is fine. ... show more

    • Best Bar For The Money!

Update: I still love the bar for the price but unfortunately the optical Toslink input just gave out today, 8-18-19, of course it happened not but a few days after the return policy expired! I’m bummed out but not devastated, I’ll just be running it with analog 3.5mm to RCA from my TV. I still recommend but being that it’s possible that something will go on you, it’s always best to spend a couple more dollars on the 4 year warranty! Normally I always do that and it has more than paid for itself but I didn’t get the warranty on this because I wasn’t overly concerned, I guess I should have been, but I’m more than happy with the analog! It’s not like there’s a huge difference and all of a sudden because I’m going analog instead of digital, there’s a bunch of noise or anything. As a matter of fact there isn’t any noise that would even matter or that you need to worry about! For the price, it’s probably one of the best sounding bar, has a decent bottom end to it which is what I wanted because I’m not a fan of subwoofers. Yea they’re great for movies and stuff if you want it to sound like a theater in your home, but I personally like to hear the bottom end warm everything up, not drown out the rest of the frequencies and cause rolling bass waves that just keep bouncing back and forth off your walls and cause standing waves to start fluttering and making a mess of the sound! 7-17-19 Just writing in again because I got another one of sound bars and I cannot recommend it enough! I originally bought the first one for my bedroom and I moved it out to the living room because I was doing some work out there and I hooked it to a 50” Vizio and put on Qello Stingray Concerts and Docs, great channel with some really good music and even better shows. The MEGACRA filled up my living room beautifully and held its own with the bottom end. I don’t have a sub and I was very impressed with the warmth that was projected. Once again.... if you’re on a budget and you just can’t deal with those tin can computer speakers anymore, I totally recommend you check this out and even audiophiles might be surprised!? This comes with multiple inputs also, I’ve personally always been a fan of the Toslink, Optical Digital, Lightpipe, whatever you wish to call it! SPDIF.... I’ve always figured that if it’s not a linear analog signal, then the next best thing should be digital packets sent at the speed of light?!? I’ve always been a bit leary of sound bars just because the lack of separation but I will tell you that this thing is great, the speakers and designed and placed correctly and with the right Audio Sound Designer can really make the surround sound stand out and sound bars in the past have been known to be thin sounding, not enough bottom end, but once again this bad boy is great, it’s done nothing but amaze me every time I turn it on! It’s so good that I want to take my older one in the LR and replace it with another one of these! I’d be more than willing to take the Pepsi challenge with this model and some other comparable name brand models. I’ll guarantee you that the only thing that you’ll notice is the extra money that you have left over! Definitely Recommend ... show more

This sound bar definitely provides good sound, but it has a couple issues. The optical audio cable that was included was absolute garbage so I had to go buy another one. This is the second Bestisian sound bar I've purchased, so they obviously chintz out on quality cables. After a month or so, I had to switch to using the HDMI/ARC because the optical audio output was messed up and putting out choppy sound. I didn't mind this too much I guess because HDMI provides higher quality sound. However, the Bluetooth won't stay connected to any devices for more than 30 seconds. It just switches back to HDMI on its own and THAT is annoying because I wanted to be able to use this to play music in my room from my phone but I can't. In short: Solid sound, garbage cables included so you'll need to use separate ones, Bluetooth connectivity is no good, and make sure your TV supports HDMI/ARC. ... show more

This was a great choice! It works well with my fire stick. I was easily able to sync it with the fire stick. I have an older TV that is a great quality flat screen. I use this sound bar in my study (about 150 sq ft) & it works great. It’s connected to a small 40” TV through the optical connection & to my laptop through Bluetooth. This allows me to take Teams calls & hear perfectly & switch over to TV sound for background noise with the push of 1 button. The sound is great & being able to adjust the bass, treble, and use (dialogue, music, movie) makes a huge difference. The one issue I’ve had is that the Roku remote does not recognize the sound bar, so I cannot use it to control the volume; I have to use the sound bar remote for that. Not a huge issue but it would be nice to be able to use the Roku remote with it. ... show more

Hook up and set up were very simple. But that's where the good review ends. The sound quality is terrible. This unit sounds tinyer than my TV speaker. I tried different hookups but they were all the same. If you want to improve the sound of your TV, don't bother buying this unit. I have returned it
