The first time I used this rod and reel was on May 4, 2024. I bought it on Feb 16, 2024 because it was a good looking rod and reel. After hooking up to my first fish, during the fight I noticed the tip of the rod broke off and I was now reeling in the fish and rod end. It didn't even last 1 hour. What a piece of junk! And of course since I bought it in Feb, they will not refund or replace my rod. Never buy anything months before, they won't refund your money if it's broken or missing parts. ... show more

The set is very nice. The paintjob on the reel will really knock your socks off, it is beautiful. Functionally it is smooth reeling and pretty durable so far. The rod is very lightweight and has nice flex. Overall a good set to get started with.

Never heard of this brand till I went on temu. Now I'm loving thier reels and rods and variety of chooses they got. Went and got another exact same combo cause my kid stole claimed it due to its flashy appearance. Super smooth and lightweight. Have been using a 1000 and 3000 for about a month and it's holding up. Caught some fat Sally's on them both and it has handled the carp and cat fish well ... show more
