If you're doing tattooing, you're probably going to need this setup. And, if you're working in either coil, rotary or pen-type machines, this is still something you need. This is a set of 100 Sotica clip cord covers, and 6 wide rolls of grip tape, in black. The grip tape is excellent, and personally I prefer the black. In fact, I would say that 99% of the tattooists that use pen-type machines with grip tape will chose the wide one. I've seen some users of coil-type machines using the narrower tape, as well, but the wide will work for them, too. The clip cord covers are great because they can be used on any type machine. If using a traditional coil-type machine, or a rotary that uses a clip cord, you slip the clip cord inside this long, narrow tube. It's very thin, extremely flexible and soft. Pen-type uses can slip this over the power cord that has the RCA plug. But even wireless pen users can use these clip cord covers. How? They simply slide the pen inside, capturing one end behind the needle cartridge. Then just past the pen you rip the cord cover, or cut it with scissors. You can probably get 3 or 4 wireless pens covered with just one clip cord cover, and it's cheaper than purchasing the shorter pen covers. This is a good set, well priced. I think any newbie should consider it, and it's still perfect for those who are more established in their craft. ... show more
