I expected low quality when I purchased this, which I was ok with considering I really would only need this for 1-2 years for my newborn, but I was highly disappointed with what I got. I have three main complaints. First off, some of the pieces for the chest of drawers were stuck together and even though I very carefully pulled them apart, the paint was scuffed. It's as if they put the pieces in the box while the paint was still wet. (See photos). So right out of the box, before even putting it together, the chest of drawers looks like crap. Second off all, the hardware. I expected a low quality wood, which this set has (no problem in my eyes) however I did not expect low quality hardware and incorrect hardware for assembly. On the chest of drawers piece, there were two pieces of the metal hardware that were not machined correctly so I was unable to use them as they would not attach to each other because they were not straight. On the crib, for the metal mattress support assembly, the hardware included was wrong and would not work for the back half of the assembly. I had to go to my local hardware store to get bolts and nuts that would secure the spring mattress support to the wood frame properly. Not cool! Last complaint is that it is a MAJOR pain in the rear to assemble. On paper, it looks easy. I have lots of experience putting furniture together and consider myself pretty handy, but this set was easily the most annoying thing I've ever put together. Due to the poor quality of the hardware and poor design of how to put it together, it is very time consuming and the parts have to line up way too perfectly to be able to assemble. Expect to spend hours on each piece to assemble. I would NOT recommend this set to anyone. I would instead encourage someone to buy pieces from your local stores that are already put together, even if means spending more. The price on this set is nice but don't be fooled, all you're paying for is headache and low quality furniture. Also, don't be fooled by the photos on Amazon. The crib does NOT convert unless you buy extra parts. Read everything on the page and look at the prices of the extra parts. They ain't cheap for what you get. Buyer beware! ... show more

I ordered the room in the box thinking it would save me time and money instead of shopping for individual furniture pieces. The crib came without hardware. The dresser and changing station only had half the pre-drilled holes done. When I contacted customer support, the only thing they said was "Sorry for the inconvenience, have a $20 partial refund to keep it as is." They never answered my questions to how many screws I need or what kind for the crib, or for better instructions on how to assemble the dresser/changing table. Luckily, I have a handy carpenter in the family who was able to spare a Saturday to help me put it all together. The changing station is rather flimsy. Only positive I have to say is that it's a beautiful color for a set. All in all, would not buy again. Would never have bought it in the first place. 1/10 would not recommend. ... show more
