Definitely a waste of money. I bought it to lay with my kids in the sun, weighing no where near the weight limit, and in 2 months the frame bent dropping me smack in the ground and hitting the bottom pole. Worked great while it lasted.

Total garbage and very hazardous. I bought this in March of 2018. Since it was the middle of winter I didn’t set it up until june. After about a month of use , the ropes started to fray a little. I just set it up this year and after a couple weeks a few of the ropes completely broke and more started to fray. It’s now become a hazard. I called Sorbus and they refused to replace it. I knew it was a couple months past the warranty but felt they had the discretion to make an exception. Not the case, even though it’s now dangerous to use, they refused to stand behind their product. I contacted amazon as well and they, too, refuse to replace or refund. I spent $120 on the hammock and now it’s totally useless and hazardous. ... show more

Beautiful well built hammock! Took minutes to set up and I was in the yard enjoying it. It even includes a cute pillow to help you relax! The fabric of the hammock is very soft and comfy. I would order this product again!

After having the hammock just a day or two, I can only speak to its apparent quality "right out of the box" but it seems to be as advertised. I will say that I needed to drop one star in its rating, for a lot of extremely SHARP edges on the steel tubing, and it may have been nice if somewhere on the labels were a message like "CAUTION-- JAGGED EDGES!! Wear work gloves while assembling this product!!" or something to that effect. Though it's simple enough to put together, I still came away with two or three gashes, and one nasty metal splinter in my fingers and hands while handling it. Apart from that though, the canvas is heavy enough to work well, and has a comfortable feel to it, and the pillow is a nice touch. I presumed that it is reversible, though no indication in the very basic directions about that. ... show more

This was a father's day gift and a perfect one at that. My wife knew I always wanted a hammock but I would get one because of the weight restriction but looks like she found one with a 450 pound max limit. So what I LIKE: You don't need trees perfectly spaced to hang this (comes with the stand). The durability you can tell it's not cheap. My wife said it was a breeze to put together. What I DISLIKE: the oh so hard to find center. Your body must be in the center or you will simply fall off(which I did) I think because of the solid bars at the feet and head prevent it from cradling you i believe most owners would agree with this review. All that being said this is my favorite spot at home and is a perfect pair for my kindle. ... show more

    • So Far, So Good!
It may be a little too soon to give this a reliable rating as it stands up to time (since it just arrived a few days ago), but there are some really cool things about this so far. I live in Hawaii (where it rains most everyday) and was a little concerned about leaving it in the elements. My 1st choices were rope hammocks with removable pads that I could bring in whenever I needed to, or easily wash, but I also needed one that will hold the weight of 2 people (and nearly all the above have a 275 lb. limit). Not wanting to chance that I'd buy a lighter one and regret it, I gave this one a try since it was reversible and definitely sized for 2 adults. It was super easy to assemble (less than a minute with no tools!) and I've already relocated it from a patio to a balcony. Although the pads are a material which will dry quickly in the sun, I installed a wall hook allowing me to hang it up under the eaves out of the rain next to the frame. So far it's better than I expected, but even if the hammock itself doesn't survive this climate, I can easily buy a rope hammock to use with this stand. ... show more
