Make sure the two outside drawer brackets are facing the correct direction. I didn't use a drill, didn't want to chance stripping a screw. Took about thirty minutes and one beer to put together. It seems sturdy enough. I wouldn't put anything more than thirty pounds on the top shelf. Drawer handles should last as long as one does not always pull hard on them. Its perfect for a nursery but i bought it for my nine year olds daughter ( small) room. The drawers are small you cant get much in them. But like i said it would be perfect for a nursery or to put small toys in.

I was looking for a smaller dresser for my 7 year olds room. We got this IT IS WAY SMALLER than expected. That being said it’s very cute. Holds her tv and Xbox and a lot of her clothes. Will have to get a second one to fit the rest of her clothes. The drawers are fabric and small.
