It works and looks good.
Color: Gilt
Holds the reed on the mouthpiece firmly. Looks cool! Sounds good with no squeaks or squawks. Fits standard mouthpiece like a 4c. No cap included but a Yamaha plastic cap fits. It is a little finicky to position. I will still use a Rovner when testing reeds as it is easier to position quickly. A good value.

Very happy with this ligiture.
Color: Gilt
Great ligature. I didn't realize what a difference a good fitting ligiture made. It changed the sound and ease of play of my soprano.

Well Done
Color: Gilt
I too bought this for my new Jody Jazz HR*6* MP. Great product. It was exactly what I was looking for. I noticed my previous ligature (textile leather), didn't appear to completely secure the reed with a single screw. It also didn't fit the mouthpiece evenly on all sides. With this ligature, it fit the mouthpiece like a glove and completely secured the reed in place with two screws instead of one. This should allow better tone and sustain. Thanks! It was exactly what I was looking for.

ONLY FOR SOPRANO SAXOPHONE
Color: Gilt
Most use soprano sax ligatures for metal tenor and alto mouthpieces. DON'T USE THIS ONE FOR THAT PURPOSE. IT WON'T WORK. This ligature was shaped to only take a soprano sax reed, nothing bigger. Now that I have given a word of caution, everything else is good and FUNCTIONAL. I'd say more but it's really up to the sax player to determine if this works for them or not.
