My old tool box liner was a very thin mesh that bunched up and wrinkled with the slightest movement of tools. This stuff is much thicker and more stable - stays flat and resisting bunching. Even though my tool cabinet is black, I like the contrast of the red liner and the way it increases visibility in the drawers and makes tools stand out. See photos for before and after. This stuff looked hefty in the picture and it is hefty in real life. It's the thickest drawer liner I've seen. I also like that it's a huge roll. I hate the 6 foot rolls where you inevitably have to buy 3 of them and then have like 5 chunks of useless short pieces. It's nice and grippy and has a just the right give to keep both the mat in place as well as the tools. I think I've found my new draw mat supplier.

I'll admit that I got this primarily for the 6" size, which is going to be the most commonly used one probably, but it came with two more of larger sizes that might see use one day. It's of course very well cut. The writing is absolutely tiny, but there's not much that could improve this to be honest, so I didn't take off for it. Note that when using it as a T-Square, for the 6" you're really only going to get 5 7/8" accurately purely because of the design (hence the missing star). I like the divot in the end for holding your pencil in place. This won't do you any good if you use the old school flat pencils, but you rarely see those anymore anyway. You can also use this as a compass, marked in 5° increments. It's quite a nice tool, and I would recommend this with the caveat that if you need more than 5 7/8" you'll need to get the next size up.

Assembly was easy, just pay attention which way the leveling foot is on when you build them. The steel seems thick enough to last, I'd be surprised if you can get the tension bolt tight enough to hold 250 lbs, but I also can't think of any time I'd be working on something that heavy anyway. Overall, I'd get these again.

It was time to replace my tool box liners and found this on Amazon. Good stuff. And the red color makes it easier to see your tools. The stuff I had before was black. So this is much brighter and works well. Cut to fit.

This toolbox liner is RED! It was easy to cut, looks great, is nice and thick so it protects my tools and the color really makes it easier to find the tool I'm looking for. Couldn't ask for anything else from a toolbox liner.
