  • Really good noise cancelling for the price point.
Color: Glass Blue
I got these to replace my aging WF-1000XM4's that I had for a few years. So far I'm really impressed with them, the noise cancelling is not as good as the XM4's, but they are still really good for the price. Sound quality is on par with my old XM4's. The microphone quality is decent enough for phone calls and video calls. So far I am loving them for the price point. ... show more

  • Excellent headphones, but who designed the bizarre gestures?
Color: Glass Blue
Overall, these earbuds are excellent, and they are an amazing value compared to other options out there. The biggest issue I have is the gestures. I don't find one tap play/pause to be useful, since they have in-ear detection tied to that already. What I do wish was more convenient is gestures for changing the volume, but some madman decided the best gesture for that is to frantically tap one ear or the other repeatedly. IT TAKES 4 REPEATED TAPS for one single up or down. And they offer some configuration, but it is severely limited. Just two themes - playback or cancellation. Please, give us the options from Inzone Buds! My only other minor gripe is that the plastic is very smooth and slippery, so sometimes they can be hard to grip without dropping. A matte texture instead of gloss would be better. Other than that, I love them. The battery life is amazing. In my use, it has been better than what they claim. They are missing some of the fancy features from their more expensive earbuds, but the tradeoff is better battery life. I'll gladly take that! The noise cancellation is quite good, as is the sound in general. I'm happy with them listening to music or movies. I haven't ever used them for any calls, so I don't know how well the mic works. They fit in my ears quite well, and they come with a few different tips for different size ears. The main piece just rests inside the outer part of your ear and is held in by the rubber tip. I haven't tried, but I don't think these would work well for activities like running, as they don't have anything else holding them in place. When stationary or walking, I have had no issues. They also sit flush enough for me that I can pull a hoodie over my head without knocking them out. ... show more

  • Great sound, fit and function need work
Color: Black
While skeptical of the fit, they do mostly stay into my small ear canals. I do need to adjust when eating, or around 15-30 minutes of wear. But the sound is great, and connecting to two devices is great. I wish it would play from both devices simultaneously, but you can manually switch in the app. You do miss notifications from the other device however, even though it is "connected." Case is smaller, but battery life is acceptable. I get about 4 hours per bud, and they charge in the case pretty quickly since they're always ready when I grab them again. The case lasts two days before needing a charge, great for days when I forget. I wish devices came with real buttons. Touch sensitive contacts are difficult to tap the requisite number of times. Sometimes it detects a touch, sometimes not. And multiple touches is a mess. I frequently take it off and bang it against my arm for that. The sound it makes on a successful touch is too low when listening to anything else, and I don't know if I've skipped forward or backward. Touch also does not work with gloves on, and isn't that a good reason to be hands free with my phone? ... show more

  • Defective after a month of use
Color: Black
They worked fine and sound great. But after a month of use when they get placed in the case the left earbud doesn’t register and keeps playing. Multiple attempts and just hope they charge.

  • Better then my best headphones
Color: Glass Blue
Now I rarely leave reviews . But these headphones are blowing my mind and I’m a bit of a stereo snob. The sound is phenomenal but there are lots of good ones available. By using the app the sound will automatically change based on your environment. For example , when I’m on the subway it uses noise cancellation but if I’m on a quiet room it changes to ambient. How does it know ! Worth every penny ... show more

  • Comared to Tozo T-6 and Bose QuietComfort Earbuds
Color: Glass Blue
My Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds bit the dust last week after five years of hard civilian use, so I started looking for replacements. FWIW, I've a pair of Tozo T-6 buds for "hazardous" situations (eg, high risk of loss or damage) and a pair of Bose QuietComfort Headphones for quality time. So I did some research, read lots of reviews and settled on the the Sony WF-C710Ns. Most of what I read said they compared well to the Bose earbuds, and at less than half the price they were a good value. I was looking to save some money and felt I could trade off a bit of performance for cost, so I bought them. Maybe the reviews set my expectations too high because I found their performance to be closer to the Tozo T-6s than the Bose. Here's the assessment: I give the Sony WF-C710N earbuds 2 stars because they're nice looking and they don't suck as much as the Tozos (I tolerate them - they serve a purpose). If my expectations were lower or I didn't know any better, the Sonys would probably be OK and I'd give them 4 stars. Same for if the price was lower. Here's the scoop: 1) They're tinny, even with all the different equalizer setting offered in the app. 2) The noise cancelling isn't great. My home a/c fan is obnoxious and they didn't do much to cancel it. The a/c fan noise is like flying in the back half of a commercial airline, with a slightly higher frequency but at a lower volume (yeah, I know). The Sony noise cancelling was maybe half as good as the Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds. My Bose headphones do the best, but they still let "some" noise through. The Tozo T-6s don't have noise cancelling, and their price reflects it. But they sound OK if you're in a library or on a wilderness hiking trail with your dog. 3) Some reviews mention that the Sony WF-C710Ns sound a bit weird, and I think that's true. They don't seem to have the stereo separation of other earbuds/headphones I've owned. They play in the middle of my head more than I like, but I could probably get used to it. 4) They weren't very comfortable, but then the Tozo T-6s aren't either, even after messing with the fitment. 5) The app isn't very friendly and it's invasive - eg, lots of third party data use warnings and set up choices that don't make a difference. I like that they're up front about it, but I don't like that they want to collect data on my location and usage, particularly when I'm hiking. The Bose app is pretty basic and I like that. Nice thing, too, is the Bose products switch easily between all my devices - TV, phone, tablet, laptop, and car, and it's easy to switch between earbuds and headphones. Fwiw, none of my hardware is Apple. So I'm returning the Sonys and ordering a new pair of Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds. The Bose cost more than I want to pay, but they're comfortable and easy to use, and they're quite good at what they do. And they've lasted five years of almost daily abuse with minimal care. I think that's a pretty good value. ... show more
