I absolutely LOVE this camera. I’m a social media marketer and this little powerhouse is exactly what I need. No, it isn’t the GREATEST camera out there, but it is perfect for what I need to do to post on FB, IG or Twitter. I’m sure it would also be perfect for the photography semi-enthusiast. The base lens is great, it will get the job done for pretty much anything you want to do, and the manual controls can give you pretty good depth of field. I have not purchased any additional lenses yet, but it’s really easy to switch them out. The best feature is the wireless transfer between phone and app. Learning how to do it takes some technical gymnastics, but once you get the process down it takes me about 15 seconds to snap a picture and have it on my phone. However ... the kit is sub-par at best. That deserves only 3 stars. The bags isn’t sturdy, and it doesn’t have a tight closure so stuff falls out of it. Because this package is relatively the same cost of the base camera and lens I purchased it. I also might be photography challenged (100% self taught), but I have very little use for most of the kit. Firstly i dont want to write a lot about camera as many people have written about the ease to taking great pictures with this camera. Coming from a DSLR camera to this i find Aperture priority mode SO EASY to use and Sony has done a great job in providing so many automatic adjustments and displays to make life easier. For people who head out to youtube or google to find feature etc. on the camera i would recommend all to first download ILCE-6000_4DFOCUS_Camera_Settings_Guide (google it ~ Sony Corp). Excellent guide to take great pictures very easy if you spend a few minutes reading it. Coming to Kit by beach camera - I did not find any issues with the kit - got everything the kit promised (I may not use all) -SD card IS scandisk extreme 90mb/s - Very good - Spare Battery - Lenses are there (they simply screw on the the front - no need for any special connections) i tried one it work fine. Overall a very GOOD DEAL ... show more

In retrospect I would have purchased the camera alone with the prime lens and skipped the bundle. The camera bag isn’t a great fit for this camera. The telephoto and wide angle lens aren’t the right mounting for this camera and it doesn’t come with an adapter so they are useless until I can find one which is proving to be difficult. The quality of the lenses is questionable as well. The 4 star rating is for the camera because it is relatively easy to use and takes great photos. My son bought this camera last year and I have wanted one since then. The picture quality is phenomenal. I also love the fact that it's smaller and less bulky than my previous camera and takes way better pictures for not much more, cost wise. I like the wifi feature as well as the extra lenses that you get. I found this bundle and was amazed at the price. My son paid more than this just for the camera. I wandered why the price was so "low" and wasn't expecting to get everything or a camera that didn't work, as per other reviews. I have gotten everything listed, and have used the camera to take "test" shots and so far so good! It did arrive a day later than originally stated, but I wasn't in a hurry for it anyway. If you are in the fence about buying it, just take the plunge like I did! ... show more

BOUGHT THIS NEARLY $700 CAMERA FOR MY DAUGHTER WHO IS IN COLLEGE PHOTOGRAPHY CLASSES. THIS CAMERA DID NOT FOCUS PROPERLY, THE SETTINGS WOULD CHANGE WITHOUT PROMPTING, AND TOOK WORSE PHOTOS THAN MY DAUGHTER'S CELLPHONE. I am very excited about this Sony camera which replaces an older version and was a gift from my husband. I still need to play with it and learn all the things it does but so far I love the compact size, the ease of use and the quality of the photos. The tilting LCD viewing screen is very useful. The camera came with two lenses which I cannot wait to use. The rest of the bundle has many fun items. I will get lots of use out of the filters, the compact tripod, the wireless shutter release and the various cleaning supplies. I can't wait to experiment with the Corel photo-video software too. The camera bag holds everything nicely although the zipper isn't the greatest. All in all, this is a great buy and I am looking forward to many fun photo experiences. ... show more

Good News: the camera itself is great, exactly what I was expecting, and because I purchased the bundle for $628 all of the accessories were basically free. Bad News: I did not receive the telephoto 2x zoom extension, the box for this lens piece was open inside my package and inside of the box was not a zoom lens but a second wide angle lens which isn't something I can actually see myself using as the effect only comes through when zoomed all the way out and at that point the corners get cut off More Good News: the 64 GB memory card is a huge bonus for me in this bundle, though there are many things I can't actually see myself using, the free card is certainly something I will. All in all its not a bad bundle but the false advertisement and obvious tampering in my package did seriously put me off Would still highly recommend the Sony a6000 though UPDATE: today I was looking through my package again for the remote that was supposed to be included in this bundle (it was one of the only other items in the package I really cared about) and it was not included. This product is more frustrating than it's worth ... show more

I love the camera but there are so many issues with this bundle. First of all I was sent an opened box which is a very big disappointment because I didn't get to unwrap anything on this "new" camera. And while some of the items are useful I did not get all of the items. I am missing the gadget bag, the liquid cleaning kit, and the memory card baggie. I would have looked the other way in regards to the missing items and I would have given this 4-5 stars if my camera hadn't arrived already opened. ... show more
