This blanket is perfect! It’s very lightweight and when I first got under it it did not feel very warm, but it quickly warmed up and I was almost too warm! I got the green color and it’s so pretty, the fabric is very soft and it’s just overall a very pretty blanket. I bought it for my husband for our anniversary and he said we have to hide it away in our room because it’s too nice to let others use! My only word of caution is it snags fairly easy. We have two cats and two kids and just from regular use (not at all rough) it has a couple snags in the last few days. I expect this from a knit blanket though, so am not very surprised. I've purchased several of these blankets in different colors over the years. The quality has never been a disappointment. They're true to color, high quality cotton, regulates bed temperature as needed. IDK how it does but it's never too hot nor too cold and it works for me. The value is exceptionally reasonable. True to size. It will shed on first wash but not after. Use white vinegar as pre wash and as softener. Don't use softener products. The fibers will soften out after a couple washes. I have been looking for one of these for a very long time. I love some of the old school blankets that were so practical and not just made to look pretty and either leave you freezing or roasting. This is just a light weight, waffle weave, cotton blanket. Just enough warmth for a mild spring night. I was looking for the hospital style waffle weave blankets when I found this one. It's softer than the hospital blanket, a touch lighter, and looks nice used as a bedspread itself. Good sizing with a bit of stretch so you can easily arrange it on the bed. This blanket is amazing. Soft, not too warm, good weight. BUT Since purchasing it in August of 21, this damn thing wont stop pilling. This is a couple weeks worth of pills. Im not sure how theres even a blanket left. This is crazy. Be aware of how much you have to clean every couple weeks.
