I wanted a camera for soooo long and reviewed many products before deciding on this one. While there is a newer model already, this one came with a bunch of extras and I was reading on expert forums that the only difference is the price. I am still getting used to everything and what I feel is biggest lesson, are the lenses. I have tried buying smaller ones for travel but found out that they are not all the same and that one must truly learn how to use them in order to make good pictures. Simply having a high quality camera doesn't mean you'll take amazing pictures. It does require skill, but it can be learned. The camera is quite heavy with the lense, and it's certainly not like having a phone in your pocket. The size of it fits my hand very good though, and it was easy to set everything up. So far I have been amazed by what clear, stable and high quality pictures I can take with the camera. And I do love the auto focus. ... show more

I'm still getting to know this camera. I'm still satisfied that this is the right camera for my needs (instead of comparable cameras from Canon, nikon, and Fuji) but I have some comments on the included bundle. The bag and the little tripod seem like excellent quality. 64 GB fits a lot of pictures, but you'll probably want a second card to have "just in case", because they're light and inexpensive. I haven't used the lens filters yet. I could not get the flash to work correctly with this camera; it ended up over exposing the images every time. I ended up spending about $80 for a flash made by Godox. The camera warns me about incompatibility when I'm using the third-party battery. You'll want a Sony 2nd battery, and an external high-speed battery charger, so you can always have a full battery available. The wide-angle and telephoto adaptors don't have the sharpest optics; when comparing the zoom lens on a middle setting with the adaptor to the zoom lens alone at a more extreme setting, you can see the adaptors slow the lens, and soften the corners of the images. They'd be useful, though, if you needed to get more extreme than the 18-135 mm focal lengths of the lens, and were willing to carry the extra components. Beach shipped the accessories first, and the camera a few days later. I was a little frustrated when the accessories showed up without the camera, and I had to ask about a shipping date and tracking number. ... show more

I did tons of research on mirrorless cameras - like months worth. I wanted something small and lightweight that I can take everywhere. I decided on the Sony A6600 and am very happy with the choice. It has the added features over other Sony 6000 series plus all the lens options. The package arrived earlier than expected, with 2 days. I choose this bundle because of certain items included. Unfortunately not all the items made it. I reached out and the vendor responded right away and resolved the missing items almost immediately.
