It's always good to have some extra lens caps around. I did some careful research and got the right size, so they fit my Sony AX700 and AX100 perfectly. I wish there were a way to keep them handy when NOT on the camera, without having to loop some cord around the lens or have the cap dangle (in the way) from the camera. There was only one other review that mentioned this fits the Handycam FDR AX700 so I wanted to confirm that this is the one to get. There is no hole to loop a string through, so you'll have to keep it in a pocket while shooting.

Bought an open box lens from best buy, but missing a lens cap. Glad to have found one here. It perfectly fits and looks great. Not sure if it’s an OEM, but it does look like one to me.

I bought a brand new FDR-AX100 and the next day during my first shoot I lost the lens cap cover. I bought this one which seems exactly like the one I lost. But that is not all. The next day when I was getting a TWIX candy bar out of the vending machine it emptied the entire row which had 8 TWIX candy bars in it.
