I got this on sale for about $330, and paired it with my Beam Gen2. At the time I was using my Beam as a desktop soundbar via the optical cable adapter into my PC. Beam sounded great, even for something it wasn't designed for. The sub made the overall experience honestly almost twice as good. The bass isn't just simple bass, it's actual bass that you feel and hear, that makes whatever you're watching or listening to better. I ended up moving the setup into my living room, which is somewhere around 25x20x10, maybe a little bigger, and is fully carpeted. This is a great addition to any Sonos setup if you are looking to stay on the lower cost of things or your room is small enough you don't need earth shaking bass. It really fills in the low end of the sound spectrum and makes your setup sound even better. Connectivity was easy enough, but placement will vary depending on your room setup and walls. You may need to move it around to find the best place for the best sound, so don't be afraid if the first place you put it, you don't really hear it much or notice it. You may also need to play with the levels within the app to get it to your desired sound. The build quality is great and it feels premium. It's nice looking as well. A must have, paired to a pair of Play: Ones! Was using them in stereo, but recently bought a Ray to use in one of my bedrooms. The build quality is beautiful. Has some decent weight to it. I have the Sub Gen 2 in another setup in another room. Both these subs definitely adds a good amount of bass to the Sonos system Connectivity and setup was easy. Open the Sonos app, hit the + at the top right corner, and it was there to add. Configured the sound with True Play and played a few movies. Sounds was pretty darn good. Is it better than my home theater system? No… but a soundbar and sub will never be as good as individual speakers. As far as bass… awesome. Whether movies or music, the Sub Mini does an admirable job. Right amount of bass and not boomy like some wannabe smaller bass speakers. I love the Sub Mini. I might even like the sound and feel better than the Sub Gen 2. I really wish I bought another Sub Mini when it was on sale again. I have another stereo pair of Sonos Play: Ones in my kitchen that can use a sub. I think Sonos has a winner with the Sub Mini! Would definitely buy again! ... show more

The Sonos Sun mini is absolutely incredible! I paired it with the Beam 2 and it is just spectacular. I am a musician and I haven't heard as great a sound in years. Whether it's movies, sports or music you cannot go wrong with this set up. You can look up the specs but all i all I have this set up in my 400 sqft garage and it sounds fantastic! ... show more
