I love this speaker. It has a great sound with excellent deep bass. It is super easy to work and fires up quickly every time I use it. I am soon going to get another one so I can hook them up in stereo but is fine as a stand-alone.

Sonos is absolutely perfect. I bought these two Play 1's to complete my surround sound experience, but the music factor is what I must love about them. They work with Amazon Alexa. They are virtually completely wireless (save for power cord). The set up is easy. You can add parts as you go with Sonos (which I love as someone who works with a budget). They are bass rich and audibly clear. The Sonos app is brilliant as well. Couldn't recommend Sonos more highly.     • Cannot Connect via Regular Bluetooth
I have no problem with the sound quality or general performance of the Sonos Play:1. It has a fairly rich, well-balanced sound quality that should satisfy all but the most picky audiophiles. The only minor thing I noticed is that it's pretty directional; once you get outside of the front 90 degrees, clarity drops off a bit. The thing that bothers me much more is the lack of straight bluetooth connectivity. Every application that you use for music, video, audiobooks, or media of any kind must be added to the Sonos app in order to listen. But Sonos does not communicate back to the original app. If you listen to audiobooks as much as I do, this will drive you nuts. Playing via Sonos, Audible (or any app that will bookmark your stopping points) looses track of where you are. Returning to headphones or another speaker, you'll have to scroll through and find where you left off. I've started running both apps simultaneously and turning down the volume in Audible (obnoxious). I understand how the Sonos master switch would be necessary to get the speaker daisy-chain functionality. But if you only have one speaker, you should have the option of a simple bluetooth connection. It's not bad enough for me to return it, but I wouldn't have made the purchase if I'd known this limitation. (I wish Sony would bring back the SRSX3. Great sound, super portable, connects easily, no fussy skin needed.) ... show more

The wireless speaker arrived brand new and fast, nice looking portable speaker. But I had trouble connecting it. I found out from the seller that Sonos uses two OSes that don't talk with each other. So, you'd have to stay within the same OS, otherwise they won't connect to each other. The seller responds pretty fast, so customer service is top notch. Definitely recommend this seller and reach out to seller first to troubleshoot or to find out if the speaker is compatible before purchase. ... show more

Couldn't even tell it was a "renewed" item. Original packaging was superb and the shipping material was beyond sufficient. These speakers, amidst newer technology, sound amazing to this day. I wasn't that impressed with Bose. But i really like these sonos. There very easy to pair together and sound really well i bought the sound bar to go with this. I pitched my bose.
