Ships fold up, of course, but the package is very heavy. This is because the foam top is nice and thick and very comfortable, feels almost like a pillow. Unpack, unfold, and you have a nice storage ottoman ready to use. The pleather is like a dark walnut, should match neutral and wood decors.

This ottoman is very well made and sturdy , It is made of synthetic leather and washes off very nicely , The color is a beautiful chestnut brown color and looks just like real leather . You can store a good amount of stuff in it . I store my electric blanket and heating pad in it and still have room left . not only is it a very nice ottoman you can use it for extra seating . Since the quality is very good the price point makes this a very good value .

I wasn't expecting this to be as nice as it is for a fold-up foot rest, but it is! It unfolds in about a minute, which is nice in case you want to store it under a bed. I got this to use as a foot rest while working from home. I was worried that it would take up too much room in my small office, but it actually makes room with the bonus of the storage. I was able to store papers that I need to reference so they take up room on the ground. The cushion is comfortable and I was really surprised when one of my friends who weighs about 250+ plopped down on it unexpectedly and it didn't collapse! He said it's pretty comfortable and that he was helping me 'test' it out. While, I wouldn't recommend it, it did hold up to him sitting on it repeatedly. I like the material and it's also easy to clean.

This ottoman is the perfect addition the empty space at the end of my bed! I love that this is multipurposeful as well. It can be a footrest, a seat, and a storage saver all in one. I had some things lying around in my room with nowhere to put them, and it was kind of making my space cluttered. But with this spacious storage ottoman, I was able to put my miscellaneous items inside and voila! My space was instantly a lot neater. This ottoman comes folded up, and all you need to do is unfold it to open it up to its proper shape that you see in my pictures. The weight capacity is also reliable, as I am just shy over 200lbs, and I can sit and stand up on this with no problem. It's the perfect size for my small bedroom and even my cat likes to lay on top of it for a nap. 5 stars!

Took less than a minute to unfold and assemble! I currently weigh 170, have childbearing hips from being a momma and this thing didn't even react to me plopping down on it! I love giving things rough treatment to ensure nobody else would get hurt especially elderly or kids. In saying that this works perfectly for my room while I build out my tiny home! I can store a throw, or papers, hiking gear, clean sheets for a guest etc. Really worth it for the extra storage space and tucks away nicely if unnecessary! My son just started college but I can see it handling a playroom very well to store toys and getting tucked into cubicle shelves. Even becoming extra seats for kids on sleepovers and playing video games. The material seems thick enough to withstand basic roughhousing and dirt. I like the idea of how simple these clean up to with material used. Vegan friendly and very reasonably priced. Functional and versatile that's the name of the game!

The ottoman comes flat and you need to open it to set it up. I was worried that because it comes flat, it wouldn't be sturdy, but that is not the case. Once you open it and place the flat piece at the bottom and put the lid on, the ottoman becomes very durable/sturdy. I wish I would have received a larger one, as I am now realizing this is slightly too small when placed next to my large L shaped couch (but that is my fault for not looking closely at the measurements). Even with this smaller size, you could fit at least one throw blanket in it. Overall, I really like the ottoman, it is sturdy, pretty good quality- and DEFINITELY worth the price!!
