Warning: long review 😁 First let me say that this was one of the easiest assemblies I've received from Amazon lol. As with most things I've purchased from this site you're provided with visual instruction as opposed to written which in this case was a plus. When I ordered it I was expecting to receive a long tube-like package and was a bit nervous when I received the small box, and became even moreso when I opened it. Tubes. Just a bunch of short tubes lol. I put it aside and waited until I had the time and patience to deal with it, not knowing it wouldn't take much time or patience at all. I started off by assembling all of the long tubes. Occasionally I came across two tubes that wouldn't join. Instead of becoming frustrated I simply tried the other end and it worked. Once that was done I started with the bottom shelf first. I took one of the plastic ends and put the assembled tubes in that side first, then attached another plastic end on the other side over the same tubes completing the first shelf. (I'd reached out in the "questions" section after receiving the package and asked for any recommendations for putting it together and someone suggested doing one entire side first. However after completing the bottom shelf I saw where it would be be tricky after completely assembling one side trying to get all of those tubes in all of the holes in the plastic ends on the other side all at once, because it was a bit tricky just doing the bottom shelf. Anyway I worked my way up one shelf at a time and before I knew it I was done. I couldn't believe how quickly and easily I finished. I was initially considering purchasing the plastic storage shoe containers but I know for a fact that plastic is not good for leather. It makes leather peel because it can't breath. The small amount of ventilation those boxes provide will have people's expensive leather shoes soon peeling. While I know those boxes may look better they're worse for the shoes, not only because in time it will damage the leather but it holds the odor in. Imagine after awhile the entire shoe , including the outside leather, absorbing your foot odor. The idea of my for odor following me around everywhere... Just eww! The one issue I have with this rack is the way they designed the plastic ends. Instead of having them closed on the undersides they're hollow. It's hard to explain so you understand without seeing it, (and my shoes are already on the rack - maybe one day I'll remove them and provide photos), but if you try to use the stand upside down with the top shelf below and the open area on the floor so shoes can be stored beneath it using the floor as the first shelf, you can see the hollow underside of the plastic ends. I'd rather have the extra room underneath the shelves to store some shoes on the floor level so I turned it upside down. That's when I discovered the hollow ends and it doesn't look good, and unfortunately because of the way it's designed I'm not sure it can be put together in a way they won't show. Maybe it can, I'll have to figure it out at another time. That's my only issue though and it's not really a big deal. For under $20 this is the best deal for shoe storage and I'm sure I'll be purchasing another. It looks good, it's sturdy, and it does the job. I highly recommend it! ... show more

Extremely pleased with this shoe rack. Easy to assemble. Sturdy. Great value. My closet looks neat and organized. I have tried other racks in the past, but they were wobbly and flimsy and did not hold as many pairs of shoes as this one.

I would have rated it a 5 star if the instructions were a hint more clear on the photos - It was slightly difficult to determine which rod was supposed to be connected. First things first, all materials and instructions were included in the packaging. It took me a good few minutes to read the images of the instructions to put it together. Then, once I was able to get the hang of it, it was pretty easy to put together. My only caution is to be slightly careful when attaching the second endcap to the rods. For the tier connectors, it was pretty easy to put together and place onto the layers. Originally, I had intended for it to be three tiers, but when I noticed the height of the clothes, I changed it to 2:1. Honestly, I'm a lot more happier that I was able to experiment different tiers to be layered with. They hold pretty well and have great spacing but if you have thin heels, then it might be a bit unstable. Overall, I'm really happy with the length, strength and easiness to assemble. ... show more

I was genuinely concerned size wise if this would fit in a small space and hold a few pairs of shoes and flip flops to keep my floor cleared. It fits perfectly. I have size 7.5 shoes and it fits two pairs of sneakers on each level. I do have croc slippers that are wider and harder to fit two pairs on but I put them on the bottom under the first rack and it works perfectly. I bought this because it was one of the only shoe racks that fit the dimensions for my closet. It looks sleek and I can fit 20+ pairs of adult shoes on it. However the quality is poor. The bottom rungs are constantly popping out of their holes and I have to take off all of the shoes and reattach them. If you’re on a budget and don’t mind readjusting on a regular basis, go for it. If you’d like to save yourself time and frustration, purchase something more substantial that costs more. ... show more

I bought 3 of these shoe racks in different lengths. They were extremely easy to put together. The small and medium racks are sturdy and hold a decent amount of shoes. The longer rack, 45” or thereabouts, could use some reinforcement in the very center. Luckily my husband wears Sketchers which don’t weigh anything, but if his shoes were heavier, I feel like the center would droop. So I wouldn’t recommend the larger shoe racks if your shoes are on the heavier side. But all in all, very pleased. ... show more
