I did all kinds of google searching to find a good quality kneeler. The web site Aging in Place rated this very highly. I read all the reviews from all the kneelers on Amazon and determined that this kneeler has a kneeling pad thicker than the sitting pad side. This does make a difference. Easy to unfold. Be careful when you fold it back up. There is a metal bar that you squeeze to collapse the legs. But you need to give a little pressure on the legs to get them to move. You can pinch your fingers if you are not careful. My solution is to rest the opposite end of the kneeler on my foot, squeeze the bar with my right hand and slowly push the leg forward with my left hand. Then I turn it around and repeat for the other leg. I have also noticed that my neighbors use stools instead. This kneeler is easier on your back. Less bending over. But this also can be a seat....so you get two for one. As for using the kneeler to stand back up, make sure you are on level ground and push straight up, just like using a pew to get up from a kneeler. I don't use the pouches so I won't comment on them. The frame is all metal, so it is very sturdy.

I love this gardening bench! At 60+ years old, the thought of crouching or kneeling for long periods of time kept me from tending my container gardens last year. I got this bench and it provides comfortable seating at just the right height. For kneeling just turn it over, it's cushioned and you have the side handle bars to help yourself up. Game changer for the garden, and for some indoor cleaning projects as well! It is light but sturdy. I don't use the tool bags much, as you have to remove them every time you flip the bench. Overall this was a great purchase and I recommend it.

I had a gardening kneeler for years. Finally, it wore out so I ordered this one. I was delighted to find one with a weight to 330. Although I don’t weigh that much I wanted a heavy duty one. I had only utilized this bench a few times when it collapsed. The frame bent and was unfixable. I was very disappointed in the quality and sturdiness of the bench. I considered it a defective product. The seller charged me a restocking fee and did not refund my entire amount! The bench was broken so there is no way they could resell it. I contacted Amazon and they are refunding me the difference.

This works pretty well, but like all these kneelers, can seem wobbly. The cushion is very hard on my knees, but its better than the rocky ground. If folds easily, is very light weight, and holds a bunch of gardening tools. Sometimes the pockets slip off, especially if you try to carry it with the pockets attached. But when you have trouble getting up, this thing is a blessing.

This item does what it's supposed to do but I guess I'm just a little clumsy and my knees are a lot worse than I thought because it's too hard for me to kneel on. I can sit on it just fine when it's in the sitting position but I have fallen and tripped over it a few times. I let my grandchildren use it and they like it and don't seem to have any issues with it.

One side legs much less than 90 degrees angle, even after forcing locking pins fully into place. Since leg bows inward it is very unsafe for sitting in upright position. Okay for kneeling only.

I love this kneeler bench! It helps me get up from kneeling when doing things on my knees indoors and I sit on the bench when gardening. Folds easily and is lightweight. The removable pockets are handy for drinks, tools, phone, gloves....all right there.
