Nice gloves. Good fit. I always use them when cutting. They seem quite durable and I keep them on while stacking wood or dragging branches around. Two notes: - it's easier to pump the primer bulb without the gloves - the grey palms do get dirty, a darker color would be better

I bought these for use with my Stihl chainsaw. They do a great job with the saw but where they really shine is when you have to grab a tree branch, particularly the ones that have thorny vines on them or other sharp points. After using these for a day or two I accidentally sued my old work gloves and promptly stabbed myself in the thumb with a thorn. Never again. The fit is a bit snug around the wrist but there is plenty of room in the fingers. As I have used them I think the snug wrists have a benefit because they keep brush, thorns, weeds, etc. from scraping my wrist. Excellent craftsmanship and feel...which it better have for the price...worth the investment...but watch the sizing. I wear size large gloves in everything! Every leather work glove, cotton glove, latex glove...but my first pair of large in these had to go back to Lowe's because they were so oversized that I could not even try to make them work...and Lowe's didn't carry a medium at my store. This pair of "medium" fit well and not too tight across the palm and still separation left at the finger length. These fit me like a work glove should, so definitely consider going down a size even though it feels wrong to order a size less...if you don't you will be sending them back and doing it anyway ... show more

Haven't used in actual chainsaw action yet, but they seem mostly solid, although the leather portions seem a little weak. As a lot of other people have stated, they run large. I have pretty big hands, but I bought the medium size, and it fits great. Normally, when I buy leather gloves, I get the XL-size, but these mediums fit me very well. These chainsaw gloves are well made and would have been perfect for me if the medium had fit. I am a woman and I really need a size 8. But they don't make them in a smaller size. I sent these back thinking I could find an 8 in some other brand but no one apparently makes an 8. So I will be reordering these. Nice chain saw gloves and made well. Ignore the 1star review complaining that the left and right glove are different; they are different because the left glove has the protection against cuts from chain saw. Glove is Class 0 which I believe is rated to stop a 16 meter per second chain speed.
