As soon as I saw how much these could handle, I immediately ordered 2, for my growing kids & small home. They do triple duty as extra seating (esp for my kids), extra storage for their random misc toys, books, & such, and also for foot rests as needed as well. Besides being sturdy, I love the fact that they have a little extra padding on top for feet & butts, have a simple, classic look (but also seem to be easily cleaned, considering all the dirty fingerprints & spills that happen around them lol). I can’t comment yet on the sturdiness of the cover material, however, since I just got them….. but I’m Just overall very excited for the, affordable but still upgraded, new edition to my home! 😊 They will get a LOT of use needless to say!

Purchased 2 of these for use as footstools in a condo. Compact design makes it easy to transport and product is very sturdy. The storage aspect is also a plus as a place to store throw blankets. I love this folding footstool, and it comes so very close to being perfect. To start, it looks fantastic, and if you didn’t know you’d think it was much more expensive. Also, it was surprisingly more cushy than I expected, and I have no problem sitting on it for extended periods of time, although I primarily use it as a footrest. I’ve seen reviews that complain about the smell, and while mine definitely still has a smell after a week, it’s hardly noticeable, and maybe I’m weird but I actually find it a little pleasant. It obviously doesn’t bother me at all, and I have it in a trailer bedroom the size of a prison cell (not a joke!), which is why I love the portability of it. And that is where my ONE issue with it comes in... The folding body of the stool fits into the lid, which is very convenient! The problem with the design, and my one and only gripe, is that they didn’t include any sort of retainer clips or strap that would hold the folded body within the lid, and because of that it naturally wants to push out constantly. It sure would make it a lot easier to stow and store if it had something like that! I am definitely in a very unique situation being in a small trailer room and trying to lean it against a wall while not in use, but I feel this small feature would benefit everyone that wanted to store it away at some point. Other than that, I’m very happy with this purchase, and I already have plans to purchase an additional one soon.

I bought this ottoman/storage cube to store my pup's toys in -- and thinking it would double as a footrest was a good idea. I have found it is ideal for toy storage; at night, all of his toys go into the box and keeps the clutter out of the living room during other times, but easily available at play time. As a storage box it is strong and very well made; I think it's a good value for the price -- the exterior faux leather is soft and very good quality -- and it looks really nice! With its smart looks and dark color it is unobtrusive, so it blends well in the living room. When this very thin box arrived, I was curious to see how it all fit inside -- basically the shipping box contains the lid and the entire cube fits nicely in the lid -- yeah! amazing. It takes seconds to put it in shape and, again, I was very surprised how sturdy it is; I can not imagine it would ever collapse. The enclosed paperwork does say it is rated at 300 kg, and it might handle that -- but I don't think I would test it (or too many things) to that level -- it is probably based on setting an item squarely on it under testing conditions -- I don't think a 600 pound person could sit on it without breaking. It has a lining inside which adds to its nice looks and quality feel. As an ottoman, it is a bit too high for my sofa -- about an inch shorter would have been perfect; but it is nice for the recliner. But height aside, it is very comfortable as a foot rest and very well padded. Even though I thought I would give it 4 stars due to the height, I decided that the pro's outweigh that one element -- and every sofa is a different height so it may not be too high for others.
