I replaced the spray nozzle on my "Roundup" sprayer with this guard and was able to spray glyphosate (I'm extra sensitive to glyphosate and generally never use herbicides or insecticides, but this one time it was a necessary evil) without getting it on myself or non-targeted plants. It would be nice to find a 1-2ft wand extension with the same threads, as well. Spray wands are made far too short these days, and I'm especially puzzled that Roundup would accessorize with an extra-short wand. ... show more

Like: Protects shrubs and flowers Don't Like: The nozzle that is part of this product, seems to spray more herbicide than necessary (since the cover limits the area that can be sprayed) resulting in waste.

Excellent drift guard. I will be able to go between the rows without getting any herbicide where I don't want any. I will also be able to use it between larger and bushier plants. Which extends the season for using it.

Works great. Use it to spray Roundup next to my grape vines. Makes a broad fine mist spray. Attached it to my Husqvarna backpack sprayer. Spray is totally confined to inside the cone. Highly recommend

    • Very inconsistent spray pattern.

I guess I should say it's a very consistent pattern, just not a very even pattern. I used this to spray turf green on my yard. Living in Arizona, it's the easiest way to get green grass in the winter, without using tons of gallons of water. The spray comes out very strong on the 2 long sides, almost in a stream, not spray. The middle area though is very fine, so you end up with 2 lines and a light section in the middle. I'm giving it 3 stars because the shipping was great, and the cover works well to contain the spray, but it is difficult to work with. It's also difficult to adjust the amount of liquid released. It's either very little, or so much it leaks where the black nozzle attaches to the white cover. If you need a spray guard, then this is really your only option, but I might just try my regular nozzle next year and stay away from the edges. ... show more
