Typically I don't buy manga in box sets because I'm typically reading them as they're being published, but Delicious in Dungeon/Dungeon Meshi was completed a few months before I became engulfed in its splendour and thus was fortunate enough for this to have been available! It's an absolutely incredible series full of incredible fantasy, realistic social drama, terrifying cosmic horror, and hilarious comedy that more people should experience, be it the manga or the anime. Even people not into anime/manga tend to greatly enjoy it, and I cannot recommend it enough. That the box set is designed to look like an in-series Mimic and has the cooking info inside upon opening is a stroke of genius, kudos to whoever had that idea. The collection is great! It's got all 14 volumes and a cool poster with a bunch of the monsters they eat in the series. Overall a great purchase, and had a very cute looking case theme. The case also has some magnetic attachments, making it a lot easier to keep closed. My only issues are the slight damages to the case and the books, with one of the books being a little damaged. The manga material is very high quality. I have no doubt this will last me. The box is really nifty as well! Brand new, although there is a slight bend in one page, we have no idea how it happened. Other than that it is perfect quality! Fantastic series!

I absolutely love dungeon meshi. I've read the manga before on my kindle but I really wanted to have physical copies of all the volumes. I am happy to say that the books themselves are in perfect condition but the box it comes in is a little damaged. I was slightly disappointed because part of the fun of having the box set is that it comes looking like a mimic. The deluxe edition is very beautiful, the box is quite creative. Looks great on the shelf. There is a poster with monsters from manga. Also I like that book format is slightly bigger than regular mass-market manga paperbacks. The Manga is great. It's serious and funny at the same time. The worldbuilding is interesting and unusual.
