I was looking at these chairs on several other online retailers and found these to be listed at about half the price. Without reviews at the time of purchase I took a chance and bought a set of 4. Neither of the boxes came with instructions, so the chairs were assembled blindly. They are straight forward enough, but some direction -even just an online PDF- would have been helpful to reference. The chair frames themselves feel solid and seem to compare in quality to the chairs listed for double the price. I've been using them for about a month and find them to be sturdy and comfortable to sit on. I recommend using a power drill to help with the screws securing the cushion as there are no pre-drilled guides for these. I found a couple of scuffs on some of the frames- as pictured- but they are minor enough to fix up with a repair crayon or wax. Overall I am happy with these chairs and feel they are a good value for the price I paid .

The chair left black marks from the leg pads on my carpet that would not come out. An ink type substance! Do not buy! I have never written a review before but will need a professional carpet cleaner to get the black stains out!

New Review: The customer service team reached out to me about the busted packaged and damaged chairs. They have properly assisted me and now I’d consider myself a happier costumer than before. They were pleasant to work with and very helpful. They are aware of the packaging issue and are working to get it resolved. Previous Review:I’ve ordered these 4 times now hoping to get chairs that aren’t damaged, in packages that aren’t completely destroyed. I’ve had no such luck and every single time, the chairs are damaged so I have to return them.

These are pretty nice chairs. The wood, I think, is definitely higher quality than the chair cushions. The chair cushions feel a bit skimped on to me, which is a little disappointing, because the finishing – particularly on the tops of the chairs – is quite nice. My chairs, although very well-packed, came with absolutely no instructions, so I sort of had to guess about how they go together. This was not terribly difficult, but annoying all the same. The cushions are basically just screwed onto the wooden frame through metal brackets, which means you put the screws directly into the cushion itself. And it doesn't seem that there's a guide particularly for where these are supposed to go, but without instructions, I may be wrong about that. I just put the brackets evenly around the bottom of the chair cushion and it seems to be fine. The shape of the back, I find, is very comfortable for sitting, in that you can scoot well back in the chair so that your legs are well supported. This is great for taller people, in particular. The only downside I find, though, is that the cushion really is quite thin and not that comfortable. With a better cushion, these chairs would definitely be five star chairs, I think. Assuming I could get over the lack of instructions and the somewhat eye-popping price...
