These cameras were a good buy. I bought these cameras because they were on sale on Amazon and they were cheaper than the other cameras that are solar power. I had to contact the customer support number on the owner’s manual, and the first representative did a wonderful job of instructing me through the process of setting up the home base and logging into their app. I have been checking into the setting options and noticed that there is a 24 hour a day option for recording. Which was a pleasant surprise since the other cameras I own with another brand did not give me that option. Something else that is good about these cameras is that you do not have to opt for the cloud service, it allows video to be stored to a mini-SD card on the home base so no monthly charge. I have left the solar camera recording for 24 hours and it does not seem to be draining the battery too fast, still at over 75%. What else I like is that when you enter the app you can see all the connected cameras video at the same time. I take it from conversation with the representatives that this is a new product and they are working through some of the product issues. I did not get notifications under the 24-hour recording mode. The last representative stated that they were going to contact their technicians to see if they can update that option. I do appreciate their customer service. ... show more

Subsequent to its installation, the integrated solar panel instantly began performing its function. Since the very first day, I have found that I do not have to be concerned about plugging it in or taking it down to charge it. Even when there are clouds in the sky, it maintains its power function automatically. Having that function alone provides me with peace of mind since it ensures that there will be no gaps in maintenance and that protection will be constant. A remarkable level of picture quality has been achieved. During the day, everything seems crisp and well-defined, which makes it rather simple to recognize particulars such as license plates or faces that are in close proximity to my property. During the night, the camera will automatically switch settings, and the visibility will continue to be amazingly good. I had anticipated that there might be some blurring or delay, but the night vision is consistently clear even when there is a lack of enough illumination. Understanding that the material I am seeing, whether it is live or recorded, is trustworthy enough to be used for actual monitoring is a source of comfort. Within the first week, I tried several levels of sensitivity in order to find the optimal setting. After the adjustments were made, it began to recognize meaningful activity, such as people or automobiles, without continuously sending alarms for every passing shadow or blown leaf. My ability to examine the live stream quickly is made possible by the app's ability to provide fast alerts whenever motion is detected. The image quality on these cameras is really good, and the solar panel keeps the battery charged all the way. You can set the detection zone and even add an SD card to save videos. Without a subscription, you only get access to events from today and the past two days, but live view is unlimited and notifications come through on time. Installed this solar security camera about two weeks ago, and I’m really happy with how well it’s been working. The setup was quick, just connected it to WiFi, mounted it by the garage, and it was ready to go. The picture quality is sharp and clear both day and night; the 4MP resolution really makes a difference compared to older cameras I’ve used. The solar panel keeps it fully charged, even on partly cloudy days, so I haven’t had to touch a cable once. The motion sensor is sensitive enough to catch activity right away, and the notifications come through fast on my phone. I like that it has multiple alarm options, I use the light alert at night, and it definitely gets attention. The two way audio is clear, which is handy for talking to delivery drivers or just checking in when I’m away. It also synced easily with Alexa, so I can pull up the feed with a quick voice command. I installed this solar powered surveillance camera in my parents' backyard, primarily to give them peace of mind at night. Installation was incredibly easy; I completed it in less than ten minutes using a ladder, no wires needed. It automatically charges in the sun, and I haven't experienced a single power outage this week. It's incredibly reliable. The image clarity is also excellent. During the day, details are sharp, even license plates in the distance are clearly visible. At night, with color night vision enabled, the light is soft but still clearly visible, unlike the gray and blurry nature of traditional infrared cameras. I can see my parents watering the flowers or feeding the cat in real time on the app. The chat function is also very useful, with clear audio transmission.
