Wow. I've had quite a few outdoor solar lights over the years and seen a lot more due to my mom's love of them in her own yard. I expected to have to let the lights charge up throughout the day, then hours later when it got dark check to see if they all took a charge and worked. I expected to have one or two end up as duds. Nope. The lights came pre-charged and immediately lit up when the toggle was switched from 'off' to either 'warm' or 'cool' light. On top of looking very nice, these don't feel cheap in the least; they have a good heft to them that signifies quality, and the posts easily and snugly fit together. You can also choose to make them taller or shorter depending on your preference, which is definitely a bonus. The lights came on just after 8pm last night (It's summer on the east coast of the USA), and my husband told me they were still on, and bright, when he got up in the morning at 5:30AM. Nearly 10 hours of continuous light is impressive. Given that it rained last night and these were all still on, the waterproof claim has been confirmed. If you are looking for quality solar lights that are beautiful as well as functional at a reasonable price ($38.99 on sale at time of review), get these. You absolutely will not be disappointed. I'll be purchasing more for my backyard once I tame the mass of bushes and vines that have slowly been taking it over.

I like the way they look in the daytime, but they are wonderful at night. These lights are as simple to assemble and install on the ground as possible. Each light consists of a stake and two tubes that the light then goes on, so you can adjust the height to fit your taste. They are also switchable from warm white to cool white. I chose the cool white for my installation. In the second picture, the first light on the right side is switched to the warm white setting to demonstrate the color difference; in addition, they may be turned off. They are light in weight but made of tough ABS plastic tubes. The light lens seems to be made of polycarbonate, a very tough, non-yellowing plastic; the pieces slide together easily. That being said, I am considering using either super glue or epoxy to stick them together permanently so that passers-by have a more challenging time if they try to take one. The last time I installed lights similar to these, they required being wired to a power supply, and I had to bury the wire, plug them into a socket, and set a timer. These look every bit as good, if not better, and are far easier to put together and install in the ground. Their price is very reasonable, and I am pleased with this product, and recommend them with no reservations.

6 pack Warm White Outdoor Solar Pathway Lights, Adjustable Light Color, IP65 Waterproof Solar Garden Lights Bright Path Lights Solar Powered Landscape Light for Outside Walkway Driveway Yard Lawn The pathway lights come economically packaged and a large brown cardboard recyclable box inside the box, there are six head assemblies for the lights, A small foldout instruction booklet, 12 pole extensions, and six crown spikes. Spikes. With the 12-pole extensions, you can have a choice of how high you want the light. You can put the ground Spike directly into the bottom of the light if you want it really low or choose your jose brackets. Looking at the lighthead itself, it has an attractive brass metal base with a bronze plastic lid . The glass section is made from a heavy clear plastic that has an opaque fluting around the lower half of the lens to give you a gentle surrounding ground light. The lid pops off the lamp revealing the bulb itself and a single switch that is marked cool, off, and warm so that you can choose how bright you want your lighting to be. The very top of the lamp has a clear plastic cover over the solar lens itself that is printed. Reminding you to gently remove the plastic film. Time to take a look at the instructions. The instructions are fairly simple. They give you ikea-like recommendation pictures telling you to make certain that this is in a sunny enough area that your batteries inside the light will be recharged and they also caution you to not use a hammer to pound the spike in because you'll damage the fragile solar panel. They note that you will have to pop the top off of each light and set your bulb temperature, between cool and warm and off. The warm light , to me, tends to glow a little more orange; while the cool light setting to me is a bit more on the whitish side. When you put the top back on the light, the light is reflected from the clear plastic lens and a multitude of directions, thanks to the fluting at the bottom of the lens. While the lights do come with a little bit of a charge on them from the factory, you want to place these outside where they can receive a good amount of sunlight. The instructions also warn that you should not dispose of the product in a fire if necessary, [because of the internal batteries] do not disassemble the product by yourself, do not soak the product in water, and it notes that the light will only come on in a darker environment because it has a light cell built into the top of the light so it won't glow all day. If it doesn't turn on for you at night, it may be too close to another light source, such as a porch light or a motion light you may have mounted nearby. [or you may have forgotten to turn the switch to cool or warm, as I did on a couple of mine.] Even though each light has rechargeable batteries built inside, they are not removable for service. Unfortunately, if the batteries happen to go bad in the future, you'll have to toss the entire light as these are not repairable. The bottom line on these pathway lights? They're attractive, adjustable, and are versatile for different mounting situations. All in all, these lights are pleasing to look at and they work well.

I have ordered several different kinds of solar lights in the past and I love the appearance of these the most –with the copper base and blooming lamp. They look more premium. I also like that you can choose to use cool or warm lighting and the selector switch inside is clearly labeled. Many solar lamps I’ve used in the past have hard-to-read labels inside, if any at all. Also, it’s rare that you’d ever need just one or two solar lights, so the fact that this comes in a six-pack already is just perfect. The stakes which dig into the ground seem like they might be a little shorter than other solar lights I’ve used, but they’re holding fine so far. I also like that these lamps can be used at different heights. I have them at the highest level, but they can be placed closer to the ground if desired. These seem plenty bright. Even better, the instructions say the service life is more than three years, which is quite a bit better than many solar lamps I've used in the past.
