So i bought 2 sets of these last year and within a few weeks, 3 died. I then purchased solar batteries from Amazon to replace as i love the product but they have Tamper resistant screws! I finally got them open and the battery is actually soldered to leads that you can not take apart without ruining the unit. So i had to trash them. What a waste. BUT TO BE FAIR...I contacted the seller via an Amazon question section and they answered me within hours thru email and sent me 3 for free; including S/H. I actually love them so much i still purchase a 3rd set after they replaced the dead ones and they look truly cool at night and light up our hot tub path. I am buying a few sets for gifts this Christmas as everyone that sees them, loves them. If you could change the batteries like most things electronic, this would be a winner and the reviews would go thru the roof!!! I guess they would sell less tho...LOL ... show more

The glow isnโ€™t as diffused as it looks in the pics. These are very lightweight plastic. A good wind will blow them away. Not impressed.

    • Great product for all the ones I received that work!
Most of the product worked. We had one defective solar light and couldn't open it to fix. I would recommend adding clear instructions on how to open and fix the lights so we can get full use of the product we paid for. Now I am down one light on our pathway.

These solar lights have held up for months without getting any rain inside. I think this is due to the rounded exterior. They also work realy well, charging and lighting our front path even when the day is cloudy. And we have a lot of tree cover/shade. I might go ahead and buy another set. Really cute and space-age/modern too. We've had other solar lights that have quickly rusted. Not these. Update: After almost 2 years straight on my front steps, one has been stolen and one has stopped working. I will try replacing the battery, but Halloween is coming up and I need lights on the steps for the kiddos to my front door. REORDERING! Love these. Mid-century-modern solar lights LOL! ... show more

This product is a very bad one. Firstly, two of the three 'lights' did not work, the one that did provided a very dim light; secondly, the instructions that came with the product relate to another item entirely, so are completely useless and thirdly, the batteries are soldered to the product therefore for the laymen it is difficult to change without damaging the whole unit. I have written to the company concerned providing my honest feedback about my 'customer experience' but have received no reply.
