I got this 9-Watt solar panel to keep my security camera charged up using the power of the sun instead of taking it down once a month to recharge the battery. The plug adapter that came with it was compatible with my rechargeable battery security camera. The mount is adjustable but since I have it in the balcony it is just sitting on a side table. It is weatherproof, it handled the rain and dusty weather we've been having here lately, I just wipe it once a week, and so far the battery has depleted by %27 over the last month vs. %80+. – just set it up and forget about it! (a nice wipe every now and then to remove the dust)

I am mostly happy with this panel. It seems to be made of adequate thickness plastic, it works well for charging cell phones, battery banks, or remote cameras. I have not checked the output voltage, but of all the devices I tested it with, none had any issues charging with this panel. The top of the panel seems to be the weakest point. I do not think the plastic layer over the noncrystalline panel material is thick enough to defend from debris. I do not know what material it is, but it feels like a type of plastic that would not do well in direct sunlight for a long period. But I am open to be mistaken, and will update this review should the plastic survive a year. While on the topic of this plastic cover over the panel, I should mention it is certainly not sealed from the elements. There are clear gaps around the edges where water will most certainly find it's way in. They did seem to think of this though, because there are four drain holes around the bottom of the panel. However the holes are way too high up. Therefore I believe water will still sit behind the monocrystal when this panel is used at anything less than a 60 degree angle.

Threaded brass inserts on the solar panel backing are the wrong size, so the included mount can't be used.

I purchased this panel to charge a Reolink TrackMix wireless camera, i did not know what to expect. This panel is incredibly efficient, it can recharge 30% of the battery in just one cloudy afternoon. The build quality is excellent, hopefully it will last long time. Excellent buy.
