  • My 4th solar drip system, Like the quick connect tees, I will buy again
As stated, this is actually my 4th solar drip system, and this one has some great features! Pro - there is a Manual watering feature - I for one think this is awesome - for those 90 degree days when the plants need extra water! Another thing they have "quick connect" tees - even the solar system that cost me $150 didn't have these 'gems'. I will say you need to really ensure the drip line is seated well into the tee, otherwise it leaks They use standard 1/4 fittings and tubing- NICE Their emitters are sturdy- not the best I have used but for this price very adequate The filter is far too inadequate for those of us using any sort of rain water. Okay if you are using city water and ensuring that no debris gets into your watering container. Didn't come with an anti siphon valve. But all in all a very nice system for the price. I have not gotten the knack of programing it but I will LoL. This by far exceeds my other budget systems. Even ones that were 50 dollars. The system that cost 150 has a more durable way to set the time and interval, anti syphon and a better filter and superior emitters. But because this system I plan on getting another one of these. ... show more

  • Great for low water usage
I ordered this solar irrigation drip kit to use with a small raised bed garden area. Setting it up was pretty straightforward after I removed all the hoses and connections from the box and laid them out. They give you a long roll of irrigation tubing to then cut to your preferred length of how you want to space the drip stakes apart. They give you a wall charger and usb c cable if you don't want to use the solar panel for charging, but I felt that the solar option was the main selling point of this item. I set it up and pressed the button on the back of the panel, which instantly started charging and displaying a red light under the displays charging symbol. The display is also easy to understand and navigate through how long to water and how often. You can even hit a button to manually start watering until you stop it, if so desired. It does a countdown to the next watering if you touch a button to wake up the display as well. Overall, this small scale irrigation setup is going to make my plants much happier when I'm not around during the day to give some water and I can fill a big container with the pump line and filter end in it to easily draw water all day. ... show more

  • Works Well, Easy Enough to Set Up
I've set up a solar drip system before, so it was easy enough to figure out how to set this one up. I use a sealed planter for the water source to water plants on a side patio. There is more than enough drip line for me to make it to my 8 plants over there. The filter is working great with the rainwater that collects in the planter. I add more water as needed when it doesn't rain enough. I'm on well water and it works just fine with the filter. Being able to program it is very nice. Again, I have another that is similar, so set up is pretty easy once you've done it once. ... show more

  • works great
We have been using this for about a month and it is working great. When we went on a trip for week we didn't have to worry about our plants drying out. when we got back the plants were all healthy and thriving.

  • Not the best.
I am not sure if I got a defective set, or if they’re all low functioning. This is my third drip irrigations that. This one just didn’t provide as much water as the others. Maybe the pump is weak. I am not sure. I will just say that there are a lot on the market and this one did not do a great job.

  • Self-contained solar-powered drip irrigation system
Neat self-contained drip irrigation system (you provide the water supply/container). The unit comes with a charger to put an initial charge on the internal battery then the solar panel should be able to keep that charged. The control has buttons for setting drip rates and times and a rain sensor on the top so it won't turn on if it has rained. The irrigators press into the soil and the water drips directly into the ground rather than on top of it which is a good system to avoid evaporation. The supplied round tubing is easy to cut and is a press fit into the connectors and onto the irrigators. The unit comes with two clear filter ends to stop the pump from sucking up debris from the water source. The tubes are easy to remove from the controller with a spring locking ring. My garden is done for the spring and summer is too hot to grow much so this will be a welcome addition to the garden in the fall. I plan on using a trash can as a source that has collected rainwater in it. ... show more

  • Difficult to stop some leakage
This is easy to set up, and doesn't take very long since they use "quick connect" connectors, but those connectors leak unless you make sure the hoses are in as far as possible and fiddle with them a lot, and any movement of the hose will set off some leaking again along the chain. I have seated and reseated the hoses numerous times but find I can not stop all leaks. At least they are minor leaks but I found it frustrating and wish I could switch to a different type of connector. ... show more

  • Love that it is solar powered
The media could not be loaded. The system was straightforward to set up, with most components being self-explanatory and easy to connect. However, I needed assistance identifying the correct ports for the water line. Initially, I assumed the water would enter from the top and exit from the bottom, but it was actually the reverse. The system provided sufficient pressure to reach the end, though I had to bleed several extensions as they didn’t dispense water initially. We ended up using a 5-gallon bucket, allowing the system to water the area 4 or 5 times before needing a refill. Overall, I love that it is solar-powered. The equipment is decent, and the water dispersion is effective. ... show more
