I tend to be extremely picky with sunglasses. This pair has a retro look and is very wide. Surprisingly enough, though, it doesn't look too bad. Perhaps it's because I do not like sunglasses that press tightly onto my head that I like the wider design. To me, it is comfortable. I tested these while driving, today. I live in the Northeast where we have had a ton of snow this winter. The reflection off the snow has made everything look ultra bright outdoors. These brown lenses make the surroundings look very homey. The dirty snow with all the sand piled onto it doesn't look too bad through these lenses! While I was cleaning them, one of the lenses popped out. I was able to push it back in pretty easily. The quality is pretty good, and they come with a cleaning cloth and a fabric case. For the sustainability minded, these sunglasses are just awesome: they're made with recycled materials, safer chemicals, and protected worker well-being. These certs by the Global Recycling Standard are certifications that every manufacturer should strive for. Being polarized sunglasses, these guys do an excellent job of following out the sun's glare while maintaining color accuracy. I obtained the tortoise shell/retro brown variety for that classic look for my wife. The sunglass lens and temples' colors are true to the product description. The style is of the classic-look cat eye variety, which can be worn either in a casual or formal setting for wide versatility. And the recycled plastic is quite durable while not being flimsy. The only con with these sunglasses are that these are just a tad bit tight for the wider faced, but a minor nitpick. The packaging for these sunglasses came in a perfectly fitted cardboard box. Inside, the sunglasses came packaged in a recyclable, reusable plastic bag made of recycled materials. Everything about this product is for the sustainability-minded. These sunglasses are so cute!! The shape is really flattering and gives that perfect Y2K vibe without feeling too over the top. The quality honestly feels way better than I expected too, especially for the price. They feel sturdy, the lenses look great, and they complete an outfit so easily. I’ve been reaching for them all the time. Only thing I noticed is they had a bit of a funky smell when they sat in the sun, which was kind of weird. These glasses are a great value for the money! Sunglasses don't have a long life expectancy for me so these glasses are right in my price range for something that has a good chance of being lost or broken. Normally I pay this amount to receive just a pair of sunglasses, and often the polarized glasses are in the $20 and above range. These glasses are not only extremely comfortable, but they also come with some extras! * A microfiber pouch which is great because the hard-shell cases are often too bulky and I also have about a dozen of them already. This pouch is a nice way to keep the glasses from being scratched while not taking up too much space and fitting in the glasses compartment of my car. * A microfiber cleaning cloth which conveniently fits in the pouch with the glasses. A nice extra touch that distinguishes these glasses from their competition. * A polarization test card. I loved this because it not only proved these glasses were polarized but it's something I can keep on hand to test other glasses that come my way. It also has a care card which is just a thoughtful, additional touch that most glasses in this price range do not have. These glasses are also very comfortable. The earpieces are firm but not too tight and the nose bridge and pads are so lightweight they are hardly noticeable. Very happy with this order and would buy from this company again! ... show more
