I bought these Meta glasses mainly for creating videos on the go, and they have been incredibly convenient. I love being able to capture hands-free footage while driving, shopping, traveling, or filming product content without constantly setting up my phone and tripod. The video quality is surprisingly good, especially in bright daylight or well-lit environments. I’m still exploring all of the features, but for content creation alone they have been worth it. The only downsides I’ve noticed are the battery life, which lasts only a few hours before needing a recharge, and the fact that some features show as unavailable even though I’m located in Texas. I’m not sure if that’s a software issue or a regional restriction. That said, the charging case makes recharging simple and convenient. I just place the glasses back in the case and they’re ready to go again. If you’re looking for an easy way to create POV content without carrying extra equipment, these glasses are a great option. Just keep in mind that, like most cameras, the better the lighting, the better the video quality will be.

I am really upset about this purchase. I loved the glasses but stopped working within first month. It was outside the 30 day wi dow to return them. I purchased the 3 year warranty but when I submitted a claim they basically told me that does not take effect until the manufacturer warranty expires. They gave me the details who to submit a claim through which was rayban. I sent my glasses back as they asked and now I they do not have glasses for me, no refund, I am out the total purchase, plus glasses and insurance plan. RayBan will not email me back, it says under my claim that an agent will contact me to figure something out since the rayban meta 2 matte black with Grey transitions are not available which I find hard to believe. I either need my full refund or another pair of glasses or atleast some help with RayBan customer service. This has been a 2 week ordeal and is very upsetting. Horrible customer service. The email link I was sent to contact does not work. Beyond furious with Amazon and Rayban for taking care of this issue.

I bought them for some random video recordings here and there but after a day of wearing them I realized I needed to use these all the time. I thought the AI stuff would be gimmicky but it’s helped a lot from identifying how to care for vegetable plants to helping me keep mites and records for work stuff. Taking photos and videos is super easy. I didn’t think it would make a difference from me pulling my phone out to take a photo or just using the glasses but it has made a huge impact. It’s only a few seconds but the convenience is def there. I don’t find them heavy on my face and they fit pretty well. Only thing would be after a few hours of wearing them, behind my left ear hurts a bit from where the glasses are sitting. I just have to adjust slightly. Battery life does not match what’s advertised but I kinda figured that when buying them. I’m sure the advertised battery life will be correct if you didn’t use any of the functions of the glasses. I did purchase a aftermarket accessory for the battery that is a must have in my opinion if you plan on using these daily and for long amounts of time. The stick/clip onto the glasses where you can add a tiny battery to charge the glasses while wearing and I don’t even notice any extra weight. The transitions are great. For me they transition fine. They don’t get super dark but I don’t mind.

Meta has apple envy & it shows - you canNOT access your media unless you use their bloated Meta Ai app on your phone... and ONLY on your phone. the Ai will tell you otherwise, but it lies! no matter how much memory i clear the app says 'phone storage full' so my media capture was a waste & this fashion faux pas is getting returned. NOW the app is bugging out, so it's all gone. (see screenshots for sizes) At least on GoPro you can preview lower res files, and even edit/crop, before you download them. the only thing smart about these glasses is the profit margin for meta's cloud conscription. these aren't worth $200 much less 400+. UPDATE - retrieved the media on a family member's phone. it was only ~5Gb in total, yet the phone had >13gb free. Just 1 annoying example of hours of time wasted, on a product that was designed like a slot machine to steal more recurring revenue.

I use these glasses everyday! When im outside, at work, when shopping... its very convenient to use! Some of the features are just party tricks to show to your friends, otherwise with full functionality will last you roughly 2 hours just for having the meta AI on. The quality is really good with the camera and sound but you definitely need lighting to film on these, otherwise you can't see in the dark lol. My only complaint is that when your working with these, your sweat might mess up the sensors. I've had some trouble trying to fix that problem but other than that they're great for music too! Very discreet!
