We just recently put our gazebo together. It seems sturdy and looks nice together. It was relatively easy to put together, it was just tedious and took some time. My husband and I put the frame together, but my husband finished the roof the next day on his own while I was at work. He said two people would have been better, but he was able to complete it on his own. Make sure to look at the pieces first when putting together because some are labeled v, v1, v2 and I feel that could possibly be confusing if trying to do it quickly. Difficult to assemble the top panel’s, you would get a couple in them while adding others, they would fall out. It tells you not to remove the film on the panels but if you wait until it’s assembled, you can’t get it off without pieces staying under the support brackets. They say don’t assemble in the wind…they mean NO breeze whatsoever. The top assembly was horrible. Appears sturdy once it’s all together but time will tell. ... show more

No more ripped canvas tops! The roof is a ribbed ‘plastic’-actually two pieces sandwiched together for strength. Daylight filters through it, which keeps it from feeling too dark inside. Comes with netting, but not privacy screens, which is disappointing—especially at the price. Even though this is heavy I advise anchoring into ground or deck. Used Amazon assembly. Took 2 guys about 3 hours to complete. They put hundreds of these things together, so they were pretty quick. Hoping this will last much longer than all the canvas topped ones that I have watched get destroyed in storms. ... show more

The gazebo itself is very well built and sturdy. Although, the top is not metal/aluminum. It is some type of pvc plastic that is tinted but allows sun to penetrate. :( Only took me about 3 hours to complete. Bolted to concrete pad. I have purchased other sojag models that the top was made of metal. Hopefully sojag sells the metal panels for this model that can be purchased? ... show more

We were tired of replacing our canopy top every 2 to 3 years so we purchased this in June. We had a tropical storm come through yesterday in New York and she came through like a champ. As far as set up goes, don’t count on the directions. It’s just pictures. My husband was able to set the frame up by himself but inserting the roof panels you really need at least two people. It wasn't too bad to put together for my boyfriend.i only had to help hold things in place one time. It is very sturdy and looks much nicer than the cloth ones that die in one windstorm. So worth the money!

Didn’t care for the Allen wrench method on 90% of putting together. May of reduced 9 hour time to put together to 6 hours. Overall looks great, many people asked where I got it!
